I know, and believe me, I sincerely appreciate your input. It's just obvious UPS is not treating these iPhone shipments like "normal."
6 days to get my phone from Apple "shipped" to my door is completely unacceptable. The last time I pre-ordered it took 2-3 tops.

So it's UPS's fault that the Communist Chinese detained the shipment over the weekend when UPS doesn't have any flights going out of ZhengZhou on Saturday or Sunday? Is it UPS's fault that the US Government Census Bureau website buckles under the iPhone pressure and doesn't approve half the phones for 10-14 hours every year? Go ahead and read threads from the past several years, the same stuff happened in the same order at the same time.
Come on man, if you're angry call Apple and complain about them doing business with Commies and get your free case and enjoy your phone tomorrow.
Me too, but the only plane out today left an hour ago. Still no departure scan for me
Arrived there today at 8:00pm local time like many of the 520 crew from yesterday. Doesn't look like ours made it out either. They're saying delivery on Friday still, so I am guessing that's what we're going to get.
Also, my wife's case was supposed to be here today but UPS says there was a train derailment that has delayed delivery. First time for that one.
I had an arrival scan of 8:00pm in Incheon and I'm in NC with an expected delivery of Friday 9/26
Same tracking info here. From what I've read in previous posts I believe it's going to Anchorage from Incheon. Don't quote me on that though!
Yes, thats correct, but when?? We could be on UPS49 to Anch, but no one has received departure scan yet. And in the future there are no flights from Incheon to Anch.. So I don't know. We are the real hold ups in the group.

just checked still no import scan...at least its stateside and not in korea.
I will admit this whole experience has sucked, bright side i don't have a case yet and i don't want to run around nude. so UPS can have it for as long as they need because I don't want to mess up my phone

Expedited Import- Delivery within four or five business days from Europe, Asia, and Latin America. That would be Fri,Mon,Tues,Wed,Thursday being the 5th day.
Worldwide Saver- Delivery within one or two business days from Asia, Europe, and Latin America.
There were a bunch of people on the same plane with both service levels. They would have took the Express Saver service level and got in the U.S. on Monday or Tuesday at the latest. When it hits the states it is supposed to deliver the next day.
It only makes sense that the Expedited group actually got faster shipping to the U.S. by riding on the same plane as the Express Savers. I can't help that it didn't work out this way but it should have.

Import scans will continue to trickle in with the vast majority of them done by 12:30-1 pm, and some trickling after that.
I don't think its ups fault. Apple gave an estimated time frame which they are beating by miles. So Apple ships world ease instead of express or whatever is faster than ease. This gives ups more time to handle the packages. I have seen packages get from China to my door in less than 48 hours via ups for launch day deliveries so it is possible to do. Yeah I am the same as you, I live in Orlando and still no update. When is your delivery date?
1 at a time as the parcels flow through the multi-mile long conveyor system and into the outbound sort area. Departure times should be about 4:30-5pm this evening.
Hate to be there bearer of bad news but mine just left Incheon about an hour ago. Expected delivery tomorrow!
