Well in theory they should have gone through, it's not like WorldPort can't handle the capacity, but this happens EVERY year with a new iPhone, the Census Bureau derps up and import scans on random peoples' phones doesn't happen until early the next day going into the afternoon, the phones leave by 5 pm and are delivered the day after.

Well, better then being let down by a date and would reduce this thread by about 500 posts....
I know exactly what you are saying. I think you and I are just trying to help but these people think we are full of **** for some reason.
At this point -- at least for a lot of us -- UPS is still accurate. They have until 8pm Thursday to get me the phone.
If it wasn't expeditied, or express, it would likely board a truck in KY for a drive.
I think most of us understand this don't worry. I want to thank YOU and flyingwasabi for posting the insight on how the UPS process works.
The fact that Census Bureau system clogged up is not really anyone's fault as it happens every year! Don't worry about the haters
I'm really hoping we didn't miss the plane... I just missed the plane out of Shanghai yesterday, so if I missed the plane out of Incheon today I will not be happy. I'm going away tomorrow night, so if my phone doesn't make it's scheduled dat of tomorrow I won't be able to pick it up until next week...
Same here. Got Import Scan and just after delivery has now changed from 9/22, to 9/23 and now to 9/24. I'm in Fort Lauderdale, FL. I'm glad I didn't bother taking any more time off work to sit at home.

Everybody is excited, so I just keep repeating myself every page until they understand what's going on.
I guarantee that a metric ton of people got their phones and only us that didn't yet are even on here today. We're the outliers, but because of confirmation bias people assume that every phone is gonna be late, where most scheduled for Thursday will actually show up early tomorrow.

When was your original delivery date?
Anyhow guys, once you get your import scan there's no reason to check your tracking info again until after 4 pm, which is when departures start going out, so take a breather and backup your current phone and get ready for tomorrow.
I changed my delivery method to will call; my center in texas closes at 7pm. If for some reason the plane arrives around 5-6 to my city, do I have any chance of picking up the phone tonight? Or those pallets don't get processed until the morning anyway?

Census Bureau backlog clearing customs. They can't leave until Uncle Sam is satisfied. They'll be getting their clearance, aka Import Scan, 1 by 1 any time now. Keep checking.

Yes both of them responded few pages back.
In essence, customs system got clogged (happens every year with iPhone) and we didn't get import scan until now.
People who were on earlier flight to Louisville last night got cleared and some people got their phones delivered today.
For the rest of us it's tomorrow.
Well I know my phone was in Incheon in time to make UPS49 because of the person with the exact same scan times as me. I feel like that should mean we were on the same pallet and therefore both would be on the same flight, but maybe I'm wrong. I'm still thinking Tim Cook is hand delivering my phone. Lol.
Nah, if people get phones, post pics! Most (if not all) of us Oct 1-6'ers are still very happy for you.
Also, don't forget to check back for the Oct 1-6 REUNION THREAD in around a week.
Does this mean that if it was sitting in KY as of 1:34 this morning, we will not be getting it today, because that pisses me off, if it's true.
