I feel we've lost with perspective (& humor). It's just a phone. We chose to be 1 of 10 million. It's an experience we signed up for.
I learned a lot about logistics, that was fun.
I feel the real tragedy is that we didn't get a sticky in our support of fellow Oct 1-6 'ers..

I figure a major amount of central sorting happens all today, and overnight a lot of action will happen and by then its just a sprint away from our doors...
There just seems to be no method to UPS shipping priorities. Arrived later than 01:34, yet gets import scan and departure scan while 01:34 boxes are still sitting around. I give up trying to figure this out.
Departure scan, yay! Wonder what flight I'm on... my phone should be headed toward Boston.
Delivery originally showed 9/22 early or 9/23 on time, then got bumped back to 9/24 after last night's layover in KY. Editing to add it's a space grey 128gb 6+, which I imagine I can handle despite my feeble little girly hands.

i originally took the survey with my phone (deliver tomorrow) just logged in on my ipad to take the survey for hubby's phone. so now you should have 82!
No one from here has gotten a departure scan for that plane though
I'm choosing to believe that our phones are on that plan, being as they scanned in Incheon, and then warped elsewhere magically for their departure scan.
Long lines at Customs
Hi All. First post here. I've been following this thread for days as it's been helping to hold on to what little sanity I have left. I'm on team 7:10, 1:34, 9/25, no import scan, no love for SoCal.
I am currently picturing my newborn iPhone 6+ standing in a long line, where they are questioning each phone one at a time:
"What was the purpose of your stay in China?"
"Is this your current address?"
"Do you have anything to declare? Any fruits or vegetables? An Apple? Hmm..."
"Did you visit any farms during your stay in ZhengZhou?"
"Wait a second... you are supposed to be expedited? I'm sorry, I'm afraid I have to ask you to step to the back of the line. We'll get back to you as soon as we clear the rest of these other phones. Next!"

If it's a government agency approving devices, in general you can bet that they're done at 4pm.
NJ flight is like 35% there and no departure scan yet

I worked from home today anticipating this iPhone delivery, and it turns out to be delayed. I asked my boss to WFH again tomorrow and he approved it. I just really hope it's not for nothing again. I'll breathe a sigh of relief when/if I see that departure scan.
9/25 is more realistic for me atleast than tomorrow. It will only work if I get my Import Scan this evening so I can make my flight in the am at 4:31am
