He said the majority... not all. I've seen quite a bunch of Import Scans and I just got a Departure Scan myself (presumably to fly to Philly tonight)

According to the poll more than half of us have 9/25 dates. That means the majority did not get their scan today.

I am not saying it is a conspiracy. The way my luck is running with this order: 1) I will get the one deliveryperson in Durham that can't find one of few 10 story buildings in the area (It has happened though it was Fedex, not UPS.) and 2) there will be a problem with the order (I ordered 2 64 G one year and got one 64G and one 32G.)

Not to be grim, but here is what happened to me on launch day with the iPhone 5 in 2012:

We were renovating the front area of our offices. We put a big sign on the front door that said, in bold letters "WE ARE OPEN FOR BUSINESS! PLEASE USE THE DOOR JUST DOWN THE HALLWAY."

UPS Driver showed up at our office, looked at the sign, and then left, with a notation on his report: "NO BUSINESS AT THIS ADDRESS".

Not kidding one bit.

Many of those 9/25 responses were probably #Team520 ppl who had their delivery date pushed to 9/26 shortly thereafter (and are still in Incheon).

Are we sure that ALL 9/25 people did not get import scan/departure scan today?
And are sure everyone on that list is the original 9/25 people in LOUISVILLE and not 9/25 people that's still in Incheon/Shanghai?

I get 9/25 date from Apple's email but UPS immediately gave me 9/23 before moving it up to 9/22 before the whole Shanghai weekend incident. Then after yesterday's Custom debacle mine was updated to 9/24.

I doubt delivery on Thursday even, unless you live right at the first continental import hub. 9/26 is looking likely if we get out of Incheon tonite. Otherwise, we could be looking at another pushback.

Urgh. First stuck in ZhengZhou and now stuck in Incheon?! #Team520 can't catch a break.

I think you're guarantee just went belly up.

Everyone needs to relax and realize that people cannot predict the future.

If you've read all of the posts, it's clear he works for UPS and he correctly predicted just about everything that has happened since last week with some small understandable exceptions. He clearly understands the process and quite a bit of UPS procedure.

He also understood the nuance with the Census Bureau handling the accounting for customs. The average person (and someone trying to bash him on this board) thought that CBP does this like they do for international passenger flights. The UPS guy was correct.

I'm done for today. I'm resigned to believing that, despite how ridiculous this is, there is no way my package that has sat in Louisville since 1 freaking AM is being delivered tomorrow....despite nothing like this ever having happened to me before.

I get UPS deliveries, everything from Ground-to-Overnight on regular basis.

So after looking around I MIGHT have found the flight that our phones could be on for people that showed arrived in Shanghai and then showed arrived in Incheon and then showed departure from Shanghai today. UPS81 seems to have left at 11:49 PM and is currently en route to Anchorage.

Are you all Saver or Expedited? Seems like there were a lot of us around that time I was actually 5:11, but I show a Incheon departure. Mine shipped "Saver" no idea what crazy system was used to pick who got what type of shipping seems all over the place.

Even the Expedited people who have 9/25 delivery whose phones have been stuck in Incheon Korea since early on the 22nd and are still stuck there?

Same here. UPS Expedited Worldwide Service, 9/25 scheduled delivery (NYC area), been sitting in Incheon since 9/22.

Well, I left Louisville only to go to Nashville. It sat there for 8 minutes before taking off again. Let's see how long it takes for it to get to Atlanta. 1ish hour flight or 4 hour drive.

I am still projected for tomorrow but I feel like my phone is taking the scenic route.

Been saying that the whole time he's been blowing smoke up the arse. He's a hack...

Heading into work now to unload trucks. Unless I'm just here for fun.

Anyhow I said the majority would ship out by 5 pm and tons did already, it's just if yours didn't ship out your confirmation bias is ignoring all of those people. Anybody who is left after 7 pm EST there's a small chance of shipping out around 5 am, but that's a small chance. Please don't construe that as gospel. There's tons of phones coming in behind us so it's not like they're going to let them keep piling up. WorldPort can process almost half a million packages PER HOUR. Hoping for mine sooner rather than later, but plenty will have them tomorrow and the rest of us Thursday. :)

Does anyone really care what this guy has to say anymore?

Just refresh your UPS tracking every couple hours.
