Oct. 1 to 6 2014 Delivery Date Orders (Update) Delivered earlier!

you have a 9/24 delivery and you are only just now leaving Shanghai? You will not make the 9/24 delivery as you have to go through US CUSTOMS and that will drag your Delivery to a HALT... unfortunately.
So I'm learning... Luckily once it gets to louisville all I have to do is drive to world port and pick it up. I'll be sure to let them know how frustrating this is to everyone. Lol
So does that mean Customs has NOT even finished the 9/23 deliveries yet? That is unfortunate to hear. Seems they will never get to the 9/25 deliveries but of course they will but seems like its TAKING FOREVER.. sorry.. had a small outburst there for a sec...

So I called Apple about a free leather case because why not, everyone else did. And both the rep I connected to and the rep's supervisor said Apple is not accommodating customers because they met and exceeded their shipping estimate. No consideration for those of us up at 3AM constantly refreshing the site to purchase, the fact that others who actually got a good night's sleep and ordered in the AM are getting theirs sooner (same model numbers), and that some of us were boned with Expedited instead of Express Saver.
So either those people are lying, Apple caught on and dictated that no reps will compensate customers further, or I just got two straight reps in bad moods.
Just a heads up to save some others the frustration of sitting on the phone for 30+ minutes and banging their heads against the wall.
Oh and by the way, my iPhone still is not showing customs clearance ... it's just sitting in Louisville.

I've been spamming the refresh and it isn't doing any good.
It seems that every time #Team520 shipping status has updated, it's between like 5am and 8am local time - at least, that's been the case for me.
Finally got a Departure scan from KSDF at 4:41 pm today. that puts my phone on UPS 2998 (MD-11F) into ANC at appx 7:15pm. tomorrow at noon i shall have my 6+
then i get to go to an ATT store to have them activate it since they butchered my phone number port. (took the number last week! they gave me a go phone to use till i get my 6+, but now i have to go to them to activate it... all free of charge now)

Ok so for us who have a 9/25 delivery date and our phones have been sitting pointlessly in Louisville all day, what is the most likely outcome ? It's a 45 min flight to Atlanta . I don't see how it would take that long to get to me
