So no good deed goes unpunished. It may have made logistical and profitable sense for them to be able to do it with some shipments but not all. Would you prefer they delay to the promised service for the orders they could get to customers early, if they can't do it for everybody?

Instead of picking random people to get early delivery why not base it on how close to Kentucky they are? or how about Which model? 6+ 128GB users spent the most, or how about Long time Apple users? Reward them for loyalty?

Anything would have made better sense than random people in CA and elsewhere getting their phone 2-3 days before the rest of us 9/25ers.

Ughhhh my phone STILL doesn't have an import scan!

I do not pretend to have intricate knowledge of UPS's business. Let me put forth a guess. UPS has limited capacity, at the time your phones were received in KY, they had other shipments that had to be delivered with priority delivery dates.

The "priority" part is the problem. We all were promised the same priority so why is there a devision?

I find it hilarious that I felt sorry for, and empathized with, many people whose phones were stuck in processing after the 9/25 group went to "Shipped."

Now, those same people saw their phones fly past the 9/25 phones in KY and are getting them today.

Apple, I will never pre-order again.

If I had been able to cancel my order a week ago I'd 100% have a phone in my hands by now. Lesson learned.

If we do not get an import scan by early/mid afternoon than I am not expecting one until after midnight.

You should; it was well-written and evoked sympathy. Lots of stories of frustration around here but hers actually demonstrates some true ridiculousness on the part of UPS.

Aw thanks.

I realize my response was clearly untrue otherwise I'd have had no idea to reference the distance I trudged through his epic commentary on my post. :D

I'm still on 9/25 and I just don't care anymore. Letting it sit in Kentucky for three days totally took the wind out of my sails.

I feel the same way. Honestly I'm just over it. I might get excited again when I see "Our for Delivery" but Apple and UPS ruined the iPhone 6/Plus ordering experience for me.

Never been so disappointed in Apple and will never use UPS the rest of my life.

That would really suck because I'm basing whether I take the day off tomorrow or not on whether I get that damn scan so I know my phone will be coming.

I'm not beginning to worry about Thursday quite frankly. I leave Friday morning to fly out of state.

My confidence in UPS is so low I'm starting to think I won't see my phone until I return home next week.

The two flights I could end up on are at 4pm today and 4am tomorrow, so that is what I am basing my prediction on.

I would like to believe that we would get the scans early this afternoon, but after everything that has transpired I am not holding my breath.

Me and you both! I have 9/26 as delivery, it waaas 9/25

My gf ordered her phone a day after me and somehow her phone left Korea first than me?! Ups is playing eenie minie miny mo

#Team520 ... for those that got left behind at least

They are purposely delaying us until Friday!! This is so dumb. They knew this all from the begginning too, that's why we got switched delivery days on Monday, they already had this planned. It's so annoying because they really could have done this better than just having us sit here.

That's the point, it feels random to you because you base it on information known only by you and Apple. UPS has no idea (or could care less), what phone it is, long time Apple users, loyalty, etc. Based on the shipping service purchased by Apple, they have an obligation to meet that commitment. In some cases they can do it sooner because it makes logistical sense for their business.

#Team520 for those who got left behind in Incheon.

Any update on our departure? A delivery date of tomorrow sounds unlikely, I guess we're set for a 9/26?

Isn't this the fourth flight we've missed out from Incheon. Tbh were not going to leave until tomorrow. I'm calling it. Everything suggests that, especially yall in Kentucky who are being withheld too. Which is dumb. Get us in and out as quick as you can.

I don't know if you work for UPS or what but that statement makes ZERO sense. Our phones have been SITTING in KY for over 36 hours. They could have easily got them to us early without sacrificing anyone's orders. I think you're just trolling at this point so I'm going to ignore you.

I'm not so sure 9/26 is going to happen at this point, still hoping though!
