For other 520-ers, check again. Mine just popped up with an Incheon departure scan of 12.03a. It's moving somewhere!
Probably going back to China

That's the point, it feels random to you because you base it on information known only by you and Apple. UPS has no idea (or could care less), what phone it is, long time Apple users, loyalty, etc. Based on the shipping service purchased by Apple, they have an obligation to meet that commitment. In some cases they can do it sooner because it makes logistical sense for their business.
Unfortunately, or fortunately, you were absolutely correct. My current status is "Out for Delivery".

Whoa . what the hell does this mean????
Isn't this the fourth flight we've missed out from Incheon. Tbh were not going to leave until tomorrow. I'm calling it. Everything suggests that, especially yall in Kentucky who are being withheld too. Which is dumb. Get us in and out as quick as you can.
It would appear so. I have one phone on its way to Louisville the other learning fluent Korean. Great.
Out for delivery at 4:33 am! Just found out my doorbell is broken too, hopefully they knock!!
What's the link to track my phone from Korea to Anchorage? So excited! #TEAM520
I feel the same way. Honestly I'm just over it. I might get excited again when I see "Our for Delivery" but Apple and UPS ruined the iPhone 6/Plus ordering experience for me.
Never been so disappointed in Apple and will never use UPS the rest of my life.
Yes, the import scan is generated after the US Census Bureau accepts the information that has been scanned at the origin site (in this case in China) and uploaded to them digitally. Nothing can leave Louisville until it gets accepted. For some reason every year the import scans get backed up on the first week of iPhone shipments and take 10-14 hours instead of the 15 minutes that they should take.
My guess is that you will see an arrival scan when it gets to Louisville. They will unload the plane and the packages will go down the belt and will be sorted onto the plane that will be heading to your hometowns. You will see a departure scan and that should recalculate your delivery date. That is the main hub and it will sort out any of the tracking issues.
Just wanted to say thank you to techedude and flyingwasabi… for continuing to give us insights while they are getting flogged.
