My iPhone has been delivered. After spending 5 days in travel, it finally made it. And UPS didn't even make me sign for it. The driver said that it wasn't required by Apple and I didn't submit any paperwork to sign electronically.

UPS schedules additional flights to transfer packages out and make sure they arrive on time.
 
Got a departure scan at 4:40 from KY. No idea where my phone is headed. Maybe to Philly where it will be loaded onto a truck and brought down to MD?
 
Does it cost money to change it from delivery to pick up at a UPS location? I just used the change delivery link in the email I got and it tried to charge me 5 bucks for changing it to pick up. They want me to pay for them to do less work?

It's definitely gotta be by truck. The flights for Columbia have been leaving between 3 & 5AM every morning

I just called and switched to customer pick-up. I can't wait any longer lol I will die waiting. My ups driver doesn't usually get to my house until 6-7PM

See my post about my same situation.

Apparently bringing the filled in form to authorize delivery when no one is home (see your order status page at apple store online) is what they need to have a filled out copy of to allow you to pick up the box. At least, that's what they said after I made it clear I was there for the day if they didn't release the box to me. :)

Mine says 3pm as wells it's now 4. I'm getting tired of sitting in my drive way... LOL
 
Arrived about 11AM, its BIG. I love it, I have pretty big hands and it fits just about right. No dings, scratches, bends, dust, or stuck pixels just a whole bunch of awesomeness. I hope everyone enjoys theirs just as much when they arrive.

Who else is waiting for departure from KSDF or KEWR?

Currently at Newark:
Inbound flights delayed at their origin an average of 1 hours 43 minutes due to runway in use.

UPS2076 currently delayed, was supposed to depart at 3:44 PM EST.

"No left turns" ? maybe..... wouldnt surprise me if it wasnt on another truck... I've seen that here.. one UPS truck drives in our subdivision.... and stops a few houses in... before he is done, a second one drives in... (dont ask me how thats the most efficient usage... but hey... ups is proud of their delivery management software that decides the order to deliver once out on the final truck)
