You know what, I haven't upgraded my phone with a GSM line before within the same carrier (AT&T in this case), so I'm curious as well.

I reckon I just need to remove the nano SIM card from my iPhone 5 and put it inside my iPhone 6 Plus and then restore from backup the iPhone 6 Plus using iTunes. Is that correct? Or do I restore from backup first before putting in the SIM card? Or does it even matter what order?

Unless you bought the unlocked TMO phone and plan to use it on AT&T, which of course you would do the SIM swap... Apparently someone mentioned, swap before you ever turn on the phone.

No I got it with ATT next. So should be locked in with att

I GOT UPDATED TO TOMORROW!..well I was scheduled for tomorrow and then it was moved to Friday but now its back to tomorrow!!

My dads phone was initially listed as delivery tomorrow once it arrived in Alaska, then quickly changed back to Friday. Mine just arrived in Alaska and shows delivery for tomorrow, I expect it will also revert to Friday, if not Monday.

EDIT: mine just reverted back to 9/26

I've had it held for will call from the beginning! I wasn't taking off work to wait for it and I'm newer to the area, so I have no idea when ups normally comes. And my wife is working, so there is no one to sign for it... Not worth a vacation day to wait for it! ;)

I'll be driving over to Spartanburg to pick it up at lunch time tomorrow!
 
There are a lot of people in this thread that were guaranteed by a certain poster they were getting their phones today and not tomorrow or Friday. I guess we know now that unloading trucks for UPS doesn't make you a prophet.
