Preparing for shipment!!!

I can't tell if I was charged though because my total amount was $0 due to me using Next and not having sales tax in Oregon.

That, and I use a credit union, and their website isn't that great, so I can't see individual charges...

Does "preparing for shipping" means anything? are we going to get the phones BEFORE 1-6 Oct? (that would be great considering the fact that I'm flying out of the US on the 1st...)

Most likely. Apple is generally pretty conservative with their delivery dates.

If I had to bet, I'd say we will get them by next Wednesday if not before. :)

When Apple charges a card and puts 'Preparing for Shipment' the ball moves fast and the product goes out the door.

Finally!

My AMEX was attempted to be charged, but their anti-fraud measures denied the order............ Got a call from AMEX to authorize these types of orders, so I had to resubmit the payment method for my Apple order.

This must be a sign for me to just wait in line...
I think my bank might be doing the same to me but I don't know where my old phone is. *sigh*

I'll just have to get my mum to phone up, I have a phone talking phobia though.

Still no charge, nor status change for me. :(

I'll just sit in the corner and wait patiently *sigh* (yeah, right.. I've already refreshed my CC summary page and Apple Store order ~5 times).

Edit: Finally was able to place an order around 3:40 Central Time. iPhone 6+ GSM (AT&T) Space Grey

If you do it quickly enough, usually you don't get pushed back to the end of the line.

I have Bank of America, and they let the iPhone 6 go now ($1000) and a Macbook Pro Retina a while back ($3300) pass unchallenged, but one time I bought a $50 case - and they challenged it. Go figure.

Card charged around 10:30am ET today (9/18) Now says preparing for shipment on Apple.com. :)

I ordered through Apple Store App
Confirmed order, 3:31am ET 9/12
iPhone 6 Plus
128GB
Space Gray
AT&T

Woo hoo!! Hope we do see them by next Friday!!

Give it about 30 minutes, mine changed within that time period.

I'm glad I checked this thread though so I could pay off my card right away. My delivery status before was October 2-7. I ordered at like 1:15 am PDT on September 12. I checked my card and I was charged. Hopefully I will get my phone next week. :D

Never mind, mine is preparing for shipment but still for October 2-7. Oh well, I can wait if I have to.
