they wanted to make double sure your phone was totally legal...

I dunno.. there have been a lot of weird scans posted the last few days... can only guess it is some side effect of the way they unloaded cargo and double checking the records. .. many got it after traveling to their next city (their second import scan from KY).

Mysterious UPS tracking is.... (also why cant the incorp all the fancy belt scanning... I'd love to see details "passed gate sensor 1" "deposited loading station 55" etc..

I think that would be a little TMI for the general population. Plus it gives way to security concerns. Even being able to track a flight is pretty creepy

I called Apple when I got the shipped notification and they submitted a one-time delivery address change request on my behalf. So glad it worked, as I'm visiting my girlfriend in Utah.

I also changed my address through Apple post-shipment, and amazingly enough in Louisville, they re-routed my phone from the east coast to the west coast without a single delay. It's amazing when the process actually works. I was expecting the worst.

Huh, guess I was wrong, just got an arrival scan in Richmond around 1am. I guess it DID leave Louisville on a truck this afternoon.

#Team520 should be landing in an hour to Louisville! Lets hope the Import Scan process flies by and we're depart in a few hours to our final destinations!

UPS is still showing me as a 9/25 On Time delivery.

I work for Ups and can tell you that it is too late for a delivery. There is a 14hr DOT cutoff for every driver in the company. They don't play games with the DOT regulations. There are 2 reasons why your package wasn't delivered today. First is that the package was misloaded onto another truck that was too far away to deliver today. They usually sheet the package as missed if this happens. The second reason you are not going to like at all. The people who load trucks in the mornings do know what the iPhone boxes look like. It is coming up on season and there are a bunch of new hires that have nothing to lose. I'm just giving you some insight on why your package isn't there. Hopefully it was the first reason and not the second.

Wow that would really be a huge Bummer if someone stole either one of my two iPhones that I ordered. Wow what would happen then? Start all over? Holy Cow....

So now that you have yours, is there any wi-fi issues at all? Does it seem slow to you. I read on others that it is but I also heard that it is faster on wifi especially with the new ac wifi I upgraded my apple router to the new apple ac router. I use to have the old g/n version. Hopefully it will be faster and more responsive. Any issues at all?

That is not too uncommon in larger cities.... you arrive at an airport... leave the airport and head to your hub... etc. Most UPS ground hubs are not located directly at the airport.

At least yours checked back in to one... mine got on a trailer at miami airport for the regional hub... at 8pm but obviously the regional hub wasnt open to process so its in a trailer outside the hub

Yes, Wi-fi is very slow! I have to use my data. I just got mine yesterday.

Well...picked up my plus at ups hub this morning.. 8:50am arrived at hub..9:07am left w phone in hands.

It has been fun on this particular thread. I learned alot about ups...lol.

That's exactly what happened to me. I live in Maryland but am visiting Utah. I called UPS tonight to inquire about which address my Plus was shipping to and the representative started telling me about the address change. Very cool.

what was your original delivery day?
I got to louisville at 1:56am 9/23. delivery on 9/25 and haven't seen a lick of movement.

Original date was 9/23. Got early delivery for 9/22. Delayed for 9/23. Updated for 9/24. I checked yesterday and it said it was being held for pick up (like i requested) then a bit later it said on Vehicle for delivery. Now it is updated again for 9/25 and it says "In Transit".

Wtf is going on?

Nope. One of my phones is just getting there, waiting on an arrival scan. The other got there over 12 hours ago and is still there. Tracking says on time for tomorrow, we'll see. They're in KY, I'm in FL.
