Haven't received my import scan but my delivery date was moved to tomorrow. le sigh

Just got my import scan at 1:02. Ironically my delivery date stayed the same (today). I'm not holding my breath though.

Anyone else from Team #520 have their date remain today after the import scan?
 
As if UPS hadn't pissed me off enough with the way they've handled this since last week....they have this GREAT BIG Ad for My Choice that says, Get a Free Estimate for the Time Your Package will be Delivered. So I finally decide to sign up after not bothering all this time. And of course once I sign up....there is no such thing.
 
UPS delivery time for my street is always 16:30 to 17:00. Every day. Sucks because I need to leave the house by 16:40 to get to work on time.
 
Finally i have my iPhone 6+ in hand after picking up this morning in Los Angeles.

Sometimes I think it would be better without all of this tracking access (flights, scans, etc). Many people here were stressed about the whole process when in reality Apple told us to expect the phone between October 1 - 7. Most of us (if not all) will have them by then.

I hope some of you take away a life lesson from this. It might be better not to look at the tracking information. Because of that, many of you took a few days off you life due to the stress. Almost worse then smoking.
 
Got a 'attempt first delivery made' exception. Did the driver actually come to my unit? NO. He only stopped at the leasing office. I'm a little peeved... I worked from home purposely today to get my package.

What's worse is the package is in another name (the account owner for AT&T, per AT&T policy). So I'm not sure UPS will let me pick it up, even though my ID matches the address of this apartment.
 
This has been the most fun thread to watch in MR in some time. Mine is out for delivery, and I'm working from home today! Looking forward to my 6+!

I picked up my phone this morning. Having UPS hold it worked great for me, no problems. It sure is a small box. It would take alot of these little things to fill up a 747! Anyway, love the phone. Inspected it closely and found no issues. UPS gave me the 25th as my date early on and they definitely ensured it didn't come early, but it was not late either. Enjoyed this post. Definitely made the wait more entertaining. It was really helpful knowing others were in the same spot as I. Thanks!!

Missed you by half an hour. Picked mine up in Fort Worth at 8:20 :)

My phone was out for delivery and apparently my apartment number is invalid or inaccurate? So they delayed my delivery once again to tomorrow. I just talked to the rep and the address is correct and all they are telling me is the local hub will contact me within the hour to see if they can deliver it to me by end of today.

Seriously, this is so ridiculous.

Yep. The driver 'attempted to make first delivery' for me.. nope. Never came by. They are calling me within the hour too.
 
Update:

Picked up my iPhone 6+ 128GB Space Gray (AT&T) from UPS Hub this morning. Got home, set her up and there was one dead pixel in the upper left portion of the screen, but otherwise she was flawless. Not to big of a deal to me in the short term. I was heading to the Apple Store to get a leather case (brown) and AppleCare+ anyway so I figured I could ask about getting a replacement.

I got to the Apple Store, checked in and was told they had 1 replacement for my model on hand and they would do a swap for me right there (SAAAAWEEET!!!).

I tell the Genius who comes to help why I am there, applecare+/case/dead pixel and he says "Let's take care of the swap and then we will get you squared away with everything else." Swap is seamless and 10 min later I have a perfect iPhone 6+. I go to pay for AppleCare+ and my case and they cannot get AppleCare+ to join my phone.

Little did the guy who helped me know, but once you swap out a phone for a "service phone" even though it is brand new, you can no longer get AppleCare+. Fu*K me! I keep my cool speak with the manager for awhile, they take down my number and say there are a couple of options, but they had to place a call to some higher up people behind the scenes to see how to fix this.

On my drive home I get a call from an Genius Bar dude who merges a call with an Apple Tech guy who verifies all my info, serial #, apple ID, etc and we are just about done when he hits a snag. Apparently my iPhone has not generated a "purchase date" in their system yet because it was just activated as a replacement and he will call me back in 24-48 hours to get me all set up. He gave me his personal # with extension if I had any questions. They need a purchase date to verify that the AppleCare+ is being added within the 60 day window. Nonetheless he said he will get me fixed right up as soon as that date populates in their system.

Thought I would share the experience with ya'll so you could avoid the same problem if you go in to get AppleCare+ AND swap your phone.

The entire process, sans the AppleCare+ fiasco, was smooth and I had my new phone within 30 minutes. She's a beauty.
 
Just returned home with my beautiful new Silver 64G iPhone 6+ in hand. It's just stunning. So glad I went with the 6+. Thanks again for all the company over the past several days. To all those still waiting, your time is just around the corner. You phones will be in your hands before you know it. Best of luck!

On a gut feeling I decided to login to my AT&T account and click My Orders. LOW AND BEHOLD! There is an order there too! I originally placed the order on the 12th with AT&T and then cancelled when they gave me a Oct 30- Nov4 delivery date the morning of the 13th. I had a Reservation with Apple from also trying to order there at 3am est on the 12th so I used that. I got a cancellation email from AT&T, but when I just logged into my AT&T account I see this.
