I had just convinced myself to stop refreshing for tonight and try to get a couple hours sleep before trying (probably in vain) to get my wife a 6+ at the Apple Store or an ATT Store (Apple store is in a complex that won't allow lineups until 5AM. Turds) and now everyone's status is updating except mine! The horror!

status went from "preparing" to "shipped in Sept 19th"

however, when i click on tracking, it's not actually in the system yet. ups says tracking number not found.

My 6+ 64GB AT&T Silver just did the same thing. Shipped. Tracking not active yet. UPS. FYI - Does not show up in my support profile, like my regular iPhone 6 that shipped a few days ago.

My Gray version of the same phone is still processing. Based on the thread, it appears this is likely to be a popular configuration with more demand than supply.

Mine said preparing for shipment, with delivery by 9/19 for 6.5 days. Then I got an email late tonite, so issue with carrier verification. Strange since I was paying full price for my update.

Spent 2.5 hours on the phone (non-stop) with Apple and ATT both on the line with me. Bottom line, is they are not sure when numerous orders are being delayed at the last moment.

So until you get that tracking number, don't feel too confident.
