Apple.com hasn't updated yet but the package shows on UPS my choice now. Delivery 9/25 by EOD.

Same thing for me when I just checked UPS ...

I know its probably been mentioned before but could someone detail the process to have UPS hold your order for pickup?

And does this let you pick it up earlier than say if they shipped it to you and you missed pickup?

OK I found mine. It says by end of day Thursday. If Apple hasn't sent out a shipping notification is this reliable?

If you're still processing what did you put into UPS?

Searched by reference number using 10-digit phone number. It appears very accurate since it shows also the case I received earlier this week and something from QVC from a week ago.

Still shown as "Preparing for Shipment" on Apple's website, however I checked UPS moments ago and found this! This is new within the past hour or so because I checked earlier and only saw the package which was my already received case.

Checked @ 8:00 AM nothing.

Checked @ 9:40 AM, showed up on UPS. Definitely changes in the last hour.

Apple website still not updated.

For those that are still in preparing shipment, try UPS, track by reference and use your phone number.

My shipment arrival day just got bumped up a day from Wed to Tues by UPS. In addition, apparently the UPS reference number was my HOME phone number, not my cell phone number.

I am confused now. This morning I received an email from Apple to say delivery on 23/09 while UPS was saying 22/09. Just now I received an email from Apple stating I can expect delivery tomorrow. UPS still says Monday.

Which information is more reliable?

I think Apple's website only shows up with the tracking number for your order when the package lands into mainland USA. that's what happened with my iPhone 6 as well - only showed up when reached Nashville, TN.

Check your tracking info again mine just updated with an estimated date of Tuesday 9/23. The apple text I got this morning said Wednesday 9/24.

I am hoping UPS is right as I won't be home until late on Wednesday!

Nope, I got my shipping notification email from Apple with a tracking number a few hours before the phone actually left China. It's still not in the U.S.
