Finally some good news. Let's hope we'll start seeing some movement by tomorrow.
I did that and they told me i can't . I have to buy only with IUP and thought the carrier. I told the salesman my cousin did the same and he just pay in full but he told me since 2-3 days change the policy.
Honestly, the only movement I'm expecting after I wake up tomorrow morning begins with a "B."
Seriously, though, I'm not bothered by having to wait until the delivery date that Apple promised when I placed my pre-order. But the apparent inconsistency, especially for people with pre-orders who later tried to reserve a phone at an Apple Store, is very frustrating. Some of them got an iPhone, others were turned away.
Apple had better get its act together by next year. If the rumors about the 2017 iPhone are at all accurate, the demand will be higher than for any prior release.

Thanks for the reply. I didn't bother going, assuming I'd be turned away anyway. I'd call and let them know I couldn't make it, but when I call apple now, it literally just says they're too busy to answer my call. Apple is seriously falling apart right now.
I just want to thank you for some useful info. Finally, this is what I want to hear after being in the dark! Not clicking the other threads and seeing people b**ch about how tracking their UPS flights.
I hope that something happens soon. I actually need my phone for my work. I'm sending back my iPhone 6 Plus when I get the new phone. It's not paid for yet but ATT didn't charge me any cell phone installment payment for October, just my cell phone service amount. So, I guess that's a little plus for having to wait this long for the phone upgrade.

Is there anyone else here that has a confirmation time BEFORE 2:10PT, ordered a Matte, 128GB, 7+, ATT, and is still processing - with Oct4-10? Trying to establish an apple to apple comparison for any activity. (sorry for the pun).

They charged my card yesterday around noon, and changed the Status to Preparing For Shipping!
Early morning I got notification that the phone was shipped, it was 4 - 10 Oct range, Tracking says it will be here on Oct 3rd.

Hi, I ordered ATT 128GB Matte Black 7+ at 3:47am EDT. Still processing and showing Oct. 4-10.
Hi, I ordered at 3:29 am CST per email, ATT 256 Black, Processing. I believe apple is now shipping the 256 Lot since all the carriers are showing less wait time for them. I checked all the carriers, ATT, Verizon, Sprint last night. As of this morning, ATT is showing backorder for 7 plus. don't know what it that all about. Anyways, Good news is most of us will get devices either this week or the next. Just hang in there!!!
Thanks, yeah I'm fairly confident things will start moving in the next day or two. Does anyone know how long it takes to go from preparing for shipment to actual delivery? For example, it my order changes from processing to PFS tomorrow, is delivery (to CT) feasible by the end of the week?
