Is it normal for UPS to not find my shipment details even though its shipped with tracking? Does it take a while before it shows anything?
Well my delivery date has changed from the 4th to the 10th to the 3rd to the 7th, but still processing.
Really keeping my fingers crossed that it delivers Monday on my day off. We had to pick up my wife's phone from the UPS store and that was a disaster , I'm really hoping to avoid that

That does sounds a bit odd. Two of my "UPS Reference numbers" are my Order # (with W) minus last two numbers, and a few different phone #s on my cellular plan. Try those in the reference field.
I have 2 phones on order and the dates just changed to 10/3-10/7 from 10/4-10/10 and both phones have been charged to my debit card.
Both ordered 9/9, 7:30-8:00 pm, EDT.

FINALLY preparing for shipment , but my delivery date has changed again back to the original 4th- 10th
So my shipment went from 30 sept to no delivery date and its back with 3 Oct delivery date. I was hoping to get it before the weekend. so upset 
. The odd thing is that the shipment is still in ZhengZhou China for the last two days. However the delivery date has changed four times without any movement on the package. It still shows ZhengZhou China 1:00AM arrival scan.

Well, 24 hours PFS no movement.
edit: I just checked and I do have a tracking number but apple still needs to slap the label on the box and give it to UPS, but at least its movement.

Well mine finally changed to SHIPPED about 2 hours ago. UPS tracking is still unavailable. Estimated delivery date by Apple is still Sep 30th - Oct 6th.

I put my order # in the track by reference on UPS and I got a tracking number. Its just says there is a shipping label created so it really hasn't shipped yet but it should soon.

UPS is seriously messed up. Apple messaged me on 27th morning that my iPhone is shipping and I will get it on 4th. Then on 27th evening I got a message from UPS that I have a package coming and it will be delivered on 30th by end of the day. However, since then the status of my package has changed 5 times and today I got an message from UPS that my delivery will be delayed by a day. However, they don't have a date for the delivery yet.
And the best part of this whole thing is the message that UPS has on Shipment progress "Sender tendered the shipment to UPS after the latest pickup time for the requested service. A day delay is likely." My question is if UPS got the shipment on 09/30/2016, what were they scanning for past three days. They had arrival scan, departure scan and then again arrival scan at ZhengZhou china.
And the best part of this whole thing is the message that UPS has on Shipment progress "Sender tendered the shipment to UPS after the latest pickup time for the requested service. Received my tracking information today. Supposedly will arrive by end of day Monday 10/3. Not sure I believe that as UPS doesn't normally work weekends.

Our phones are probably together. Same thing happened to me. Now in Korea. Still hopeful for Saturday delivery (tomorrow)... but their new delivery date is Monday 10/3.
Folks - my 7+ 128GB Black AT&T is out for delivery - likely won't see it until this evening as phone is being delivered to my office and I am in a golf tournament today. Regardless, I received my shipment notification yesterday at 1:53 am EDT and being delivered today - still shocked at how quick it went (after only a few hours at PFS). Guess I am lucky.

Well, although my experience up until now has been subpar, UPS definitely surpassed my expectations.
