Oct 4-Oct 10 SHIP date still processing

Apple really took their time shipping mine. Mine finally shipped on Oct 1. Apple says delivery on October 7 by standard shipping. UPS 's tracking information isn't available yet so I can't compare delivery estimates. I can't even call Apple and complain as they did estimate Oct 4 -10. But 1 week for delivery? Ive never preordered an iPhone that took one week. My wife ordered hers 6 days after pre orders started, it shipped 2 days after and was in her hands 2 days after that.
Mine is exactly like yours. It shipped on oct 1, estimated delivery is October 7 but it does say 2-3 business day so I hope we get it earlier. What color, size and company did your wife get it from?
she got a 7plus rose gold 128 from att - through apple. granted, she got rose gold which I figured would be quicker than a black color, but her order to receive was less than 1 week. Mine is estimating one week just for delivery
Same thing happened to my iPhone shipment also. It was scanned 4 times in china before it shipped.
So I guess she was just one of the lucky ones that got her phone quicker than others. This has been the worst launches of an iPhone that I can rememberI go to the 7 plus rose gold 128gb from T-Mobile through Apple
Mine was marked shipped last night with a delivery date of 10/7. I really hope its earlier than that... but ups tracking info isn't up yet
Woke up this morning to emails from Apple saying that both phones have shipped with a delivery date of 10/7. Tracking details not available yet.
Same boat. I would say we'll get our phone by Wednesday. But hope for Monday, haha.
Great, UPS updated the tracking info, and UPS now says it will deliver on October 11 . So if I don't get it within my quoted dates of October 4 through the 10th, does this mean I can call Apple and complain?
Does it say on your order "Ships Oct. 4-10" or "Delivers Oct. 4-10" ? If is says it ships between those dates, call it a win and enjoy your new phone. If it says delivers between those dates, and it's one day late, call it a win and enjoy your new phone.
Mine was on a flight as part of a "very large container of Apple products" (- DHL employee) from Zhengzhou in China a couple of days ago, and arrived at a DHL hub in Amsterdam yesterday. It was supposedly travelling from Amsterdam to Cambridge last night, and then on to a UK depot. Was then scheduled to be delivered on Monday (October 3 - thereby Apple would have beaten their estimated window assigned to my order of October 4-7), but as I'll just miss it by going away on holiday the day before, I asked DHL to put a delivery hold on it for me until the following week.
Can't believe I'm going to miss it by just one day, and won't be able to try out the new camera 'on location'…!
Oh well. Fingers crossed you all get your new iPhones sooner rather than later!

My iPhone is cooling its heels in Anchorage (it's actually not that cold there yet). I assume it'll be on one of the upcoming UPS flights to Louisville—the next one is in about 4 3/4 hours from now).
I have no problem waiting another day or two. But, like many people, I'm usually at work when packages are delivered, and I can't always be sure that a family member will be home to accept delivery. In the past, I've tried having packages sent to my work (a disaster given the huge volume and number of loading docks) or arranged for pick up at a UPS facility (not very close to me and hard to get to before the end of the day). I wish there were better options.

It has always said ships 2 to 3 weeks, and delivers by October 4 through October 10. Believe me, I'm not one of these people that thinks he's entitled to something for free because it took him a day longer to get something. But, at the same time, I just bought apples most expensive phone, over $1000, and Apple, in my opinion, has set a standard for customer service and meeting customer expectation, that I just feel like having spent that kind of money and not receiving the phone for over a month after ordering is a bit ridiculous. Apple also indicates that it is standard shipping, again going back to the point on the money I just dropped on this thing, I would expect a speedier serviced to be included
Agreed. I'm 11/11 now and that means two months from order to delivery. There could be other supply chain issues we're just not aware of but this is very un-Apple to have to wait this long with only one update in 20 days. I also don't think it's unreasonable to want Apple to toss us some swag. Maybe not a new case or dock but I would love love love an Apple t-shirt, size XXL, in red please because that makes my blue eyes just pop.

UPS updated my delivery estimate to Oct 4 , but all I see on the tracking info is a location scan in China on the 1st, no other movement. Im not gonna hold my breath of the 4th

I've noticed that the UPS tracking updates are as much as a day late. My phone left China on September 30 and will be here tomorrow, so October 4 is realistic.
So my phone changed to "Shipped" on Thursday in the middle of the day. First ETA was 10/3/16. Randomly on Sunday, it changed to 10/4/16. Now today, it got bumped back again to 10/5/16.
Just get it together and get the phones overseas.
