October 12-19 Delivery thread

Hi, I thought I'd start a thread for people with pre-ordered S4 watches expected to arrive October 12th.

I ordered 2 Stainless Steel watches. 40mm (gold with stone sports band) and 44mm (Space Black with black sports band). Both ordered on 9/14 about 10 hours after the preordering system went live.

Please post here if your delivery date moves at all. I’m hopeful that I might get lucky and it moves to 9/21.

Usually, they ship about a week earlier especially when the delivery date is more than 3 weeks later but that's not a rule. We'll know better after the first orders start shipping and people start cancelling theirs.
 
I bet 9/28 we get ours. 1 week after first batch and 2 weeks before original estimate.

Depending on my order's status later this week, I'm planning on going to the Apple Store this Friday and seeing if I can get one in person :)
 
I ordered SBSS at 3:45 AM Eastern Time and was originally 10/9 but now shows 10/12-10/19. We will see if it ships any earlier but I’m thinking Apple misestimated demand, in particular for Stainless...
 
Ordered a 44mm Stainless Steel w/ white sports band at 4:05am central so about 2 hours after launch. I'm in the 10/12 10/19 window. Based on past experience I expect to get it earlier but I'm guessing next week at earliest.

How did you order a rose gold watch??? They didn't release any rose gold that I'm aware of!?!?
 
Ordered a 44mm Stainless Steel with a white sports band at 6:15 am Eastern. I am n the 10/12 10/19 delivery window. I am going to keep track of inventory at Apple Stores and if I can, just go pick one up and cancel the order if they ship more to the stores then to pre-orders as they did with Series 3. I am also hopeful that the delivery date will change to earlier after the first wave of shipments goes out.
 
I ordered a 44mm Nike SG that is set to be delivered 10/5 on launch night around 305am.

I have been second guessing myself since then and just ordered a 44mm SS Gold about 5 minutes ago. My expected delivery is Oct15-22.

Hoping 1 of 2 things:
I can find the gold one in store and can cancel my order in time to return the Nike
The Gold order gets here sooner than expected and I can return the Nike

Fingers crossed on our orders moving up!
 
I ordered 40mm SS Gold with gold Milanese Loop at 8:30pm on the 14th. I have October 12-19th. Hoping that gets bumped up like it usually does. My experience is 9-10 days after ordering but that's for iPhone and after launch day so would at least have to count from the 21st.
 
Looks like Apple really dropped the ball with the Stainless Steel watches. There was never a 9/21 delivery option or an in store option for 9/21. I was online and looking at these models just seconds after going live with the preorders. Hopefully they have been super busy cranking these units out since Friday.

my 40 SS Milanese is delivering Friday..... there wasn't ever an instore option...

AND you never said how you ordered a ROSE GOLD watch?????????????????????????? where did you find that option?
 
I ordered a 40mm SS and a 44 SS, confirmation email at 12:06 am. The 40 delivers 9/21 and is preparing to ship. The 44 is still processing. I don't see any movement on my 44 yet and no one else has reported early movement either, that I can see. In years past I've sometimes received an order a bit earlier than quoted but not by a lot. I expect if I'm lucky I'll get my 44 at the end of next week, not any sooner.

Actually I’ve seen the gold 40mm stone band available for pickup a few times. I was monitoring istock. But yeah people that ordered even in a couple minutes got 9/28 at least. Hoping there's a massive shipment soon.

Edit: But as far as I've seen the special bands like Milanese SS were never in store.
 
I’ll be checking local stock starting after midnight tonight in hopes of buying in store tomorrow and canceling my delivery order. Slim chance but worth a try.

How do you check local stock?
 
I ordered a 40mm Space Gray Aluminum (GPS) @ 6AM on 9/14. Still "processing" as well.
