Now showing 'In Transit' Memphis TN as of 3.35am, and still with delivery scheduled for Monday 8th. It must be tired after a 3-day sightseeing tour of Shanghai, but at least it seems now to be in the same country.

Well, FedEx seems to have some kind of crazy new transportation offerings. Somehow mine was in Shanghai "In transit" at 11:52PM then 5 minutes later, BAM 11:57 PM arrived in Memphis, TN. Funny thing is my delivery date is still Tuesday by 8 PM. It was Monday by 8 PM, changed to Tuesday by 4:30 PM, then changed to Tuesday by 8 PM. I really thought FedEx was better than this.
Mine was on the same flight but still showing Monday delivery. Must be a southern thing that we're making folks in Virginia wait an extra day. Really, don't know why it would be later and maybe mine will move to a Tuesday delivery.
Okay - mine is now showing “at Destination Facility in Addison, TX.” Which means it’s here - literally 15 miles down the road.
So why is FedEx still showing “Tuesday by 8pm delivery”??? UGH.
Any chance they would surprise me with delivery today or monday? I have packages all the time end up there and on a truck that day to me.
It's ridiculous that I can walk over to an Apple Store and buy a 44/SG/Alum/Cellular/Loop RIGHT NOW, yet my order is still "PROCESSING" with a 10/12-19 delivery date. *sigh*
Aww man. that’s really frustrating brother. Out of curiousity, I’ve been watching local stock and there’s been none available. So at least that made me feel a little better about the wait.
If you paid outright - you might consider just buying at the store, and returning the one that gets shipped to you. But I know that can be a hassle.
Great advice - and I would except the only reason I don't is because my purchase is a gift for someone that is hundreds of miles away, and I'd just have to end up shipping (and paying) it myself - with only a week to go for the official date.

My order never processed. So I waited until this morning to see if the stores in Atlanta ( we have 5) were going to have stock. I purchased the Nike version through the Apple Store app and picked up a few hours later with no issues.

Just now seeing this, and I'm in the same position. Mine is sitting at the local facility with Monday delivery. I know Fedex does Saturday delivery, but I don't believe these were shipped with this option. I also remember the last time I asked if I could hold something the answer was that it wouldn't be available for pickup until the delivery date.
At this point I'm fine with Monday, wanted it Friday but just didn't happen.
What a bad luck!
In our case, it means that something happened with the plane or due to the National holiday (October 1-7) in China airport was not accepting or was accepting a limited number of cargo flights. Who knows...

Well, it may be official. At 7 AM this morning delivery still showed by 8 PM Tuesday delivery after having been at the local destination sort facility. But at 7:22 AM, that changed to on vehicle for delivery today by 8 PM. Sweet! I was prepared to hit up the sort facility at some point today instead of waiting.
Congrats! I got mine today but not without a great deal of trouble from Fedex. Mine was scheduled for delivery today, checked around 8am today with the same status. Took the day off so I could be here given the need to sign. At 10am it had changed to a delivery exception... "Business closed no attempt made". Called and had to explain that I wasn't a business and that the address has been unchanged for 30 years. Was told that the local center would call.
They called, stating that they couldn't access the container with the shipment today so it would need to be tomorrow and hung up. Called again and was told that the delivery date was changed to the "committed date of delivery" from the "scheduled date of delivery". Asked where that was on the information page and they couldn't show it. Said they would have the center call me. Asked about pickup and was told the records showed that it wasn't an option.
After waiting for a couple hours called back and finally got someone who had the local center admit they messed up and didn't load it for delivery. They didn't have the option to deliver today, no transports available (BS but ok). Asked it I could pickup and was told I could. Given I couldn't be home tomorrow I drove over and picked it up but so upset with Fedex right now. They even had the nerve to circle my address and write "need valid address".... please... valid address.... same address for 30 years and it was legible.
Very disappointingly pathetic that it appears to be taking most all of us until the 10/12-19 date to get the Watch.

Got mine on Tuesday. Was originally delivered on Monday, but I wasn't at work so had to wait until Tuesday to get it.
Watch finally was delivered TODAY - 10/18.
Certainly took longer than expected, being that Apple pre-orders tend to get delivered much earlier than estimated.
