Nope it's nowhere, phone or watch.
Have you looked into the Activity widget on the phone?

On your iPhone, go to your Activity widget (you can search for it) > Scroll down to Awards > touch Show More > Scroll to Monthly Challenges > in the lower right-hand corner of the tile touch Show All. You should now be in the Monthly Challenges screen. There should be a grayed out icon for the October Challenge next to the previous months.

Are you running iOS 18.1 beta 5? That 18.1 beta is very buggy that I had to downgrade.
Nope never use betas.

Nope nothing is there, it's not showing any challenge at all for October.

So, when your challenge is, eg do 31 days of x, the day you cannot achieve that goal anymore, it will disappear, so if your goal was like that and you did t hit it on the 1st, it’s gone…

It never appeared on the 1st either, that’s my point. I’ve not had an October challenge.

I see by your signature that you have new devices (iPhone 16 Pro, Apple Watch 10). Maybe that has something to do with it? Do you see your previous challenges?

As much as I hate to say it, maybe you should call Apple Support since you have coverage?

I can see all my challenges and awards dating back to S0 watches, so it’s definitely a strange one.

Mine is 1184 calories 14 times in the month. This is about my average last month, a hard training month, but usually I have in a week three harder trainings when I’m much higher in calories and other days lighter training when I’m a bit under, it can happen I’ll skip this month.

October is completed, back to 90 minute workouts during the week, and 60 minutes on the weekend.

Good reminder for me to actually update now - I usually wait a little bit after new OS releases before jumping in
I think it's a nice feature. I moved my minutes goal to 20 over the weekend because I usually am really active (chores etc) but don't usually have time for a true workout like I force myself to do during the week. It feels silly to care about it, but since I do, the customization is a welcome change.

Wonder if anyone else is seeing anything like this? The first picture with 0 days I took this morning. The second was this afternoon after I closed my move ring. I'm seeing this every day, where it seems to reset to zero every morning, but then "catches up" after I hit my move goal. This is the first time that I remember where I had a goal that included a streak rather than a total number. I'm going to be Very Not Happy if it doesn't count tomorrow.

iPhone 16 Pro, iOS 18.0.1, Watch Series 9, watchOS 11.0.1.

what does your "longest move streak" badge say?
could be a bug for those who have a move streak challenge?
so you should see your challenge completed tomorrow, assuming you close your move ring for that day ...
keep us posted

My longest move streak was 98 days. My current streak is 15 days. I would have completed the challenge today except I paused my rings for one day because I needed a day off. Flu and covid shots this year kicked my butt. At first I thought the pause reset my streak, at least for the challenge, but as soon as I completed my move ring the next day it caught up again. I'll post tomorrow with results.

Once again this morning my challenge badge showed 0 days completed, even though I had seven. But when I completed my move ring today, it did complete the challenge correctly. So no idea what that was all about. Just a glitch I guess. No harm, no foul. Onward to November.

Once in a while my rings, prior challenges and awards disappear. I panic, close the app, reopen and they all reappear.

That happens to me sometimes too. I tried closing and reopening the app, rebooting the phone, rebooting the watch, etc. It was consistent through all the days of the challenge: showing 0 completed until that day was completed, then the actual number completed showed up.

Never had that before. BTW here is an update. My 200% Move rings for 7 days/1 week minimum is halfway complete. I doubled a lot as I do lots of strength Fitness+ workouts along with their dance workouts I started out since last month. 4/7 days, let's go...

Other than that, Apple Watch wearers if you haven’t already get a 10-20 minute meditation session done with Apple Fitness+ or do a Reflect meditation session. You can do it on a comfy sofa 🛋️ in a quiet place or on your bed 🛏️ and get this award… today only.
