crashlock - did you get that from www.interfacelift.com?

I honestly can't remember. I have got stuff from there before so the possibility is high. I also like to nosey around using this excellent picture hunting engine www.pixsy.com . It looks round all of the free image databases like Flickr. My desktop is a crop of a larger image tho.

Blue Moon Ice

October sky through first fall ice is on my desktop.

Reminds me of mine:
Sometime ago I saw a clip from that, what is it, 'Space Theater 3000' or something; where they're in the cinema watching a 1950's public info film about personal grooming. Any idea where I can get it? I think the image on your desktop is from that?

It's Mystery Science Theater 3000. You can buy box sets of some of the episodes (Amazon), or acquire single episode online thru nefarious means *ahem*. It's not on TV anymore though. :(

You know, the simplest tweaks can make a desktop look that much better. For instance, I lowered the opacity of my Dock's background by about 40% and it suddenly has that aqua feel to it, blending it in with my new desktop background.

I was using 0% for the longest time, but finally decided tonight that it was time to go back to the default... and then lowered it a little bit. :)
Man's restless spirit... :D
