I'm so sorry for your loss. Gorgeous dog (well, what I can see from that pic).

Thank you both, he was a top dog. It happened while i was on holiday (and my birthday). He was perfectly fine all day being his usual active self then in the evening he deteriorated. They took him to an emergency appointment, the vet immediately went to operate. Found it to be an internal bleed from a massive tumor in his liver. The vet said he would've only had the tumor for about 2 weeks . At least I know he wasn't in pain and will have just fallen asleep but it still hurts.

It may seem a little weird but i see the fact that he died on my birthday as a wonderful gift. Next year I will be reminded of all the glorious times I had with he and the joy he gave me.
