I, too, saw it for the first time today on Facebook, and only on Facebook, so far. Only thing is, I could never log into Facebook, which I thought was odd.

I'm sure it is the Java thing others were talking about, not some sort of virus, haha.
 
Guys, stop panicking...

This is the "wait" cursor that Apple's JAVA implementation uses in certain situations.

Go to the Dell site and do some custom computer configs... you'll see this cursor a lot.

No virus. No Safari resets. No fix required.

You beat me to it! I was seeing this cursor a lot when I was downloading Windows 7 yesterday.
 
Java update doesn't fix this

I was hoping the Java update would sort this out but I still get the blue ball when trying to login to facebook. Tried all the solutions from other threads, reseting safari etc but no joy.

This is becoming a pain and it seems no solution to be had.:confused:
