FWIW - 10.6.4 seems to have fixed my graphical glitch problem.

I've been running safari constantly since the 10.6.4 update and haven't seen a single instance of the graphical glitches.

I'm still having the exact same problem and I'm on 10.6.7. Never happened until Snow Leopard, but that's been a while now.
