Odds of ipad 3 being exact same size as ipad2?

What happened to the rumors of a mini-iPad3 (7-inch screen)? Is this still floating around? I haven't seen any reference to it lately.
 
I hope it stays the same size as I have a MacCase which I used for the iPad2, but I am not betting on it. I am hoping the difference will not be that bad and I can still use it though.
