Yea the Rocket ship disappeared after I tried down loading on my 2nd attempt as 1st stalled.
That may explain it.

Yeah that’s weird! Mine is now installing with 28 minutes remaining. Enough time to fry some chicken and work on not losing weight

I'm on macOS Sierra. I got that exact warning every time I tried to install the public beta. I gave up because I never could get past that warning.. Never had that problem with the public beta or a final release before.

Have not downloaded to try to install High Sierra yet

I will report back later on how the installation works out.

Installation complete. Everything is looking good so far. I had to enable Trim twice to make it stick.

I have been running the beta on a separate partition and it ran really well for me, hopefully the in-place upgrade will be just as good.

Now to get everything tweaked the way I want it........

Finally. Took exactly 2 hours to download and install on my 2013 MacBook Pro but worked the first attempt.
