If only the human brain had 16 cores.

And you would need 32 hands.
That´s 320 fingers.

What planet do you live on? You have 10 fingers per hand? Last I checked it was 5 fingers per hand, 32 hands would give you 160 fingers.

Yep. Consider the 16-core Mac Pro Waiting Club closed as of today.
 
so activity monitor will show 16-cores??? imagine having that on your screen!! i have my 2-core machine in the bottom right hand corner.. if i had EIGHT TIMES that many cores it would take up half the blippin screen!!!

No I doubt it. The 8-Core models just show one big processor.
