The best way to go into the post season.Should of heard Gagne's post game press conference..I hope they hid his belt and shoelaces..WOW!! That guy is psychologically damaged...
Detroit loses 4-2.![]()
You have to win first.Good, Sox magic number to clinch the playoffs is 3 now. Still 9 for the division
On another note..What's with Grady??Is he staying on in LA??

looks like mets fans can breathe easier tonight. they win and phillies fixing to lose, so their lead is back to 2.5.
and red sox fans, don't panic, barring a total collapse and comeback by the tigers and mariners, you're in the playoffs.
Don't worry... The Cubbies have clinched it. (I hope I didn't jinx them) The Cubs have 9 games left against below-500 teams: Pits, Fla, and Cincy. While the Brewers have 11 games left (with no rest) against some tough above-500 teams: Atlanta, St.Louis, and SD. (Well the STL isn't above 500 but they'll still be tough to beat.)cubs still holding onto their lead...just barely...we need some room to breathe

I would think Cubs fans would know better then to make statements like this.Don't worry... The Cubbies have clinched it. (I hope I didn't jinx them)

Don't worry, they'll still find a way to lose in the most gut-wrenching way possible.
That is to easy, It would probably be a blown call by the ump or another fan getting in the way.So they lose a game they had been leading with via a grand slam in the bottom of the ninth on the last day of regular season ball, or simply walk in a couple runs in a row with the bases loaded.
