Should of heard Gagne's post game press conference..I hope they hid his belt and shoelaces..WOW!! That guy is psychologically damaged...

On another note..What's with Grady??Is he staying on in LA??

No one here is calling for Grady Little's head. Between losing three starting pitchers and Nomar forgetting how to hit with power, the blame for this underachieving season lies elsewhere.

Don't Stop Believing:p

looks like mets fans can breathe easier tonight. they win and phillies fixing to lose, so their lead is back to 2.5.

and red sox fans, don't panic, barring a total collapse and comeback by the tigers and mariners, you're in the playoffs.

Yeah, but winning the division is crucial to us. We haven't won it since 1995...

cubs still holding onto their lead...just barely...we need some room to breathe
Don't worry... The Cubbies have clinched it. (I hope I didn't jinx them) The Cubs have 9 games left against below-500 teams: Pits, Fla, and Cincy. While the Brewers have 11 games left (with no rest) against some tough above-500 teams: Atlanta, St.Louis, and SD. (Well the STL isn't above 500 but they'll still be tough to beat.)

go cubs

Don't worry, they'll still find a way to lose in the most gut-wrenching way possible.

So they lose a game they had been leading with via a grand slam in the bottom of the ninth on the last day of regular season ball, or simply walk in a couple runs in a row with the bases loaded.

That is to easy, It would probably be a blown call by the ump or another fan getting in the way.

Maybe Mark Prior will come back, pitch brilliantly, then unravel when the game is on the line.

Of course, he'd need an intact right shoulder to do that so maybe the Cubbies are safe.

The Mets reallly realllly suck. They just lost to the Marlins.:p And the Phillies won again.
