I grew up with Toy Story, I was 6 when the first one came out in '95, and 10 when the 2nd one came out in '99. Due to the 11 year gap between the two movies, I forgot a bit about them until I saw the new one, and it brought memories back. Who else is with me? Great movie btw. :D

The Toy Story movies were never my favourite Pixar movies. I really don't understand why people love it so much, to be honest. I want to see it, but it's not a priority. Hopefully it'll be available aboard my next flights and I can just watch it then. That's where I saw Up.

Out of the Pixar films, Toy Story(s) were good, but a little too sickly saccharine sweet to be my favourites - although they were, of course, still very good animated features.

I'll take my parents to see Toy Story in a week or so. We've seen all Pixar films at the theatre since Monsters.

On a side note, I think it's frikin' amazing how far they've come with the animation... Compare screens of TS1 with TS3. o_O Amazing.

Anyone else watch the CNBC feature on Pixar today? It was pretty good. Lots of Jobs' interviews.

    Almost. I was fightin' it.
Mainly caused by the fact that I never really had those types of magical moments with toys being into the computer and all.:(

Mick died in Rocky III. That's one of the reasons that Apollo's trainer was helping Rocky in Rocky IV.

I'm from Philadelphia. It's required watching. If a Rocky movie (1-4) comes on TV, I have to toss the remote since I won't be needing it for a few hours.

I've honestly never seen a single Toy Story movie. I'm sure both my kids have seen them, but not me. I've avoided them to be honest... That said, I will likely see this one (because of the kids). Should I see the two before? If I don't will it be like watching the XFiles movie without having seen any X-Files episodes? I did that - no idea really what was going on in the film.

I probably will be going to watch it eventually. I've seen nearly all of the Pixar movies. I think it's amazing how realistic they can make things look in films like that.

I went with my family for fathers day. Both my sisters and mom cried when the toys all held hands.

I enjoyed the movie. A good end

I don't know...the tortilla is what got me. I laughed so hard at that I almost couldn't breathe. There was just something about it.

But yeah, this was the best of the three Toy Story movies I think. Animation was incredible, and the story was great. And as some others have said, I ALMOST shed a tear, but I kept them in!

It was, but I didn't feel much after that.

I want to see Toy Story. In fact, I want to see it and like it. Hopefully I'll have a chance. :) They're showing it at the IMAX!

You don't need to see the prior two to enjoy this one. It'd give you a little back story into how the various toys became friends and what they've been through together, but you certainly won't be lost.

    Almost!

One of the best movies I have seen for YEARS!

    The tortilla part was hilarious!!!

I almost cried twice in the movie, once in the beginning, and at the end.

By far the best Pixar movie I have ever seen. They really stepped the animations up, there were points in the movie where I thought I was looking at a real stuffed bear talking, rather than a computer graphic.

The Day & Night short at the beginning was AWESOME as well.

No, Rocky IV was awesome, and they never made any other movies after that. Ever.

People keep saying there were two more, but I think they're pulling my leg.

Only time I cried during the movie was when the dog walked in. Because I was laughing so hard. :p
