Ok now! So when do we expect the Merom MBPs?

Dont know Merom, just dont like current MBPs

I've been waiting a long tme to upgrade my laptop. I'm not in a huge hurry, but Id rather not wait til 2007. As much a motivator for waiting is hearing about all the heat and noise coming from the current 'books. I dont want a piece of trouble, and hopefully the next updates will be the sweetness.

you might want to have a Rev B MBP that hopefully has a lot of programs

you might just get over yourself and ignore threads with Merom if they bug you...

Here we read it as 1 october. 1/10-06 day/month and year but you can also write it like this 06-10-01 year month day.

ISO standard is 2006-10-01. That confuses the fewest people. And it sorts in ASCII.

We all have gone through the highs and lows of all the rumors suggesting the release of Merom MBPs.
So, whats the final word?
Is it going to release this month, christmas time or next year?
Please elaborate your reasoning rather than just stating "Next Month" or "2007" (I know some people would want to say that)!
