Yeah I had the 3rd gen iPad which is identical in size and weight as the 4. I was in the Apple Store one day and picked up a mini and had to have it so I bought one. I found myself using the mini more than my full size iPad because it was so thin and light. Now we have a full size as thin and light as the old mini and I love it. Best purchase of the year.

It really is a great purchase. There was some issue with a co-worker of mine saying it was wasteful to get a new computer after only nine months. It really hit home with me cuz I realized my apple addiction has been bad for one year now. However, the improvements aren't incremental. They are pretty big. Just the bezel and weight reduction alone justify the upgrade along with the speed and sleekness. Plus the fact that both my retina mini and 4 refused to play video of any kind and one is already gone and the other has been banished to my car trunk.

The Air is the nicest computer I ever had. My first computer was a 1984 Mac. Then a 93 performa 600 cd. I remember that old girl so so well. Then I had a powerbook 520 c in 1995. In 2000 I got a compaq, and a vaio in 2004. Then I bought a crappy hp for 350 bucks in 2011. Then I got my first ipad in feb. So now I stand at the pinnacle of a summit of a mountain of crappy computers. Actually, the apples and Sony were good. The rest sucked.
