Old (10.5) Exposé in Snow Leopard [Solution]

I've reverted back to the old 10.5 Exposé after my last 10.6.4 combo update. I thought you'd like to know. 
I probably wouldn't have to keep doing this if I didn't use Combo updates. Such is life.

With the 10A380 Dock you also get back the white menus and a bonus "Assign Application To" menu if Spaces is enabled.

Hey psid, Just want to really thank you for your inputs! I wish to ask: Is is possible to change the menus back to how it looked like in snow leopard? Translucent dark background!
If you want the old expose you get the white menus as well which I guess can be an advantage or disadvantage depending on personal preference.
How the menus are displayed seems to be part of the Dock binary file and so there is not much that can be done.
here is a little mod with real 10.5 style stacks without hard white border. also i made scroller lighter for easier navigation.

As much as I LOVE old Expose, I had to revert the hack... it was causing my fans to go off much more frequently.
How do you revert to 10.6 expose? I made a backup of my 10.6 dock but i'm unable to delete the old one or overwrite it cause it's always marked as "application is in use"
The 10.5 expose is causing some kind of graphical distortion problem every i expose and go back to a safari or ms word window!

The problem occurs when I use the hacked Dock, either by replacing the Dock app, OR by replacing only the content (binary).
If I switch back to the snow leopard Dock, the "show Desktop" issue is solved. But I desperately want the old exposé behaviour too!

Just applied this to my system and I am SOOOOO much happier.
There were some weird things with SL that annoyed me but this expose thing was the largest by far. No that i have the old expose back I am one happy camper!!

As already mentioned above you are best served by searching youtube for the differences between Leopard and Snow Leopard.
The basic gist and the reason i like the Leopard Expose better is because of the screen space is better used and the windows are much easier to tell apart from one another.
Entering this into Terminal will get you black translucent menu lists:
defaults write com.apple.dock use-new-list-stack -boolean yes; killall Dock
