Dude... you're the luckiest kid ever. I'm 16 and saving for a MP to replace my MBP ('cause I found I don't really need mobile anymore, besides, that thing must export HD like crazy). I'd keep that old G4 case though, make it a memoir to the old guy, maybe even a plaque. You could also sell it to someone that needed a G4 case or just wanted one.

Wow, nice. It's an amazing feeling isn't it. I had a PowerBook G4 a few years back, Apple ended up replacing it because they were taking too long to fix it, so I BS'ed a story on how I really needed it back, so they sent me a brand new MacBook Pro, which I use now. A few weeks later I got my busted PowerBook back, and sold it for parts and made about $400.

So, try selling your old PowerMac for parts. iFixIt will buy busted Macs.

I second the mini idea. That's what's so cool about them. Got an empty case? Put a mini in it!

Don't believe you, sorry. Apple is going to replace a six year old broken G4 with a brand new PowerMac?

Not unless you have compromising pictures of Steve Jobs and Bill Gates. :p

Probably lots of others will post this but here is a popular use of the case:

You could throw it off a bridge.
Or chuck it at your neighbor.
Or run over it.
Or smash it with a sledge hammer.
Or chop it into little pieces and put it in a microwave.
Or pop off the front panel, hollow it out, and use it as a trash can.
Or use it for target practice.
Or save it for a while and when you feel like you need to kill somebody, go get it from you closet and beat the crap out of it instead.

lol

Those images show an insurance claim, most likely a new for old policy. Also the paperwork is c/o australia pensioner insurance (plus you're supposedly 15 which is not a pensioner :)) which I'm pretty certain isn't Apple either so its not technically Apple that replaced the item, its your insurance company and iirc 'The Mac Shop' is a reseller/repair company not a direct Apple Company.

As to what to do with it - mod a tft into it.
