Not everything with a dock connector will work: my old Belkin dock (which doubles as a USB hub) worked fine with my 3G & 3GS but not iP4.

Nope- ihome and belkin charger

I put my iphone 4 into my ihome and it doesnt want to charge- only play music. The ihome is a couple years old. i might take my iphone to apple and see if the newer ones work. What a bummer.
I also plugged my iphone 4 into my car charger ( that i used to use for my ipod touch) and that wouldnt charge either.

Guess I have to now buy: ihome, car charger, bumper for that antenna thing, and a wrapsol.
geeezzzzz - the price of a cool new gadget...

I am using my iPhone 4 in my iHome iP99 with the Apple Universal Dock insert for the iPhone 4.

It works fine ... charges and plays as with my 3G.

I don't know, but, the Griffin PowerJolt SE car charger that I bought for the 3GS works fine with the iPhone 4.

Wish I could say the same. I've been using a PowerJolt for the iPhone 3G, 30GB iPod 5G, and an iPhone 3GS; tried to use it with my iPhone 4, and it does NOT work.

The included cable didn't fit with my iPhone 4 + black bumper, so I've tried 3 different Apple USB cables; they don't work either.

Upon plugging the PowerJolt into the iP4, it sounds and looks like it's charging, but then after about 40 seconds, it STOPS charging.

Brought back my 3GS and an iPod nano, the PowerJolt charges fine. iPhone 4? Nope. Not sure what the deal is. Have taken off the bumper, used an Apple cable, and same behavior. It will charge for 30-40 seconds, and then stop.

Guess I'm the only one with this issue. Watching eBay now for a solution. Unless someone can shed some light on why this could b happening...
