That reminds me of reading about NASA still using G3 Macs to communicate with old satellites.

The Mars rover that landed a few years ago used a special radiation-hardened version of the PPC 750 processor(otherwise known as the G3) known as the RAD750.

Per Wikipedia, a handful of spacecraft using it were launched between 2005 and 2012.
