Fallout 1 and 2 for iPad would be too awesome!
I'd also like Warlords 2 and Escape Velocity!

Carman Sandiego for sure lol, My first computer had the original black and white version :D Ahh memories...

The old b&w macs were always nicer than the amber or green screen PCs...

Anyone remember Scarab of Ra? That would be a fun one nowadays with a few updates.

Submitted for Retina

Thankyou very much. Bought it, have missed it for many years :) Please hurry with the enhancements for the new iPad.

As the developer of Spaceward Ho, I can tell you that I submitted the updates for the Retina Display. You can see the difference here http://ariton.com/post/19841883926/now-that-i-have-my-the-new-ipad-aka-ipad-3 It is pretty awesome. It should get approved this week.

Also, if you have other suggestions feel free to send them to me.

Halo: Combat evolved
Yes this was an OS X game. No I don't think we will ever see it on the mac.

Yes, I looked at the pictures, but I was hoping for nicer graphics overall, not just text. The orbits for satellites for instance, or the symbols for mining and terraforming.

I played a game yesterday, it was great, just as I remember it. But I do lack a few functions.

1. Routing ships
2. Scrap individual ships
3. I'd like to see how much fuel my ships have so I know if they can make a return trip.

Really enjoying the game so far. Thanks for the effort.

LEGEND OF FREAKING ZELDA. C'mon Nintendo, you know you can't win this battle.....give in.

Also, love to see some of the Sierra games too like Police Quest, Space Quest, etc. Loved those games. I know these aren't older Mac games but, seriously, I want these games on my iPad anyways.

Oregon Trail. And KidPix!

Edit: there actually is an Oregon Trail! I just downloaded it :p. But I say they should add Storybook Weaver :)

Not technically a Mac game but would love for the iPad to see some revitalized LucasFilm Games WW2 flight sim action.

SWOTL multiplayer with gyro-enabled anyone?

How is this thread on page three without a mention of Diablo 2 by anyone? Shame on all of you!

Don't know if it was ever on mac (only had one since 2010) but I'd love to see Empire Earth, it's the only RTS game I've ever really liked, and there's been nothing quite like it since.

Edit: it was never on the Mac, but the Empire Earth IP is owned by Activision now, and they are in the iOS app business so it's not so far fetched.

Some super-old games like Pool of Radiance, Fallout I & II, Command & Conquer, Dune 2, Wasteland, Syndicate, Eye of the Beholder, Ultima, Ultima Underground

Mostly strategy and RPG. Stuff that would be easy to translate for iPad.

Yeah, we don't have all the smaller graphics yet. The graphics do look better, since before at the smaller size it was actually scaling sometimes. but if you have it zoomed up to 1.5x or so then you can see the edges.

For 1. Routing ships. Are you talking about being able to have a ship move through a set of planets and just refuel themselves automatically? i.e., instead of just dragging to the planet directly and have it give the path automatically?

2. You can scrap ships right now, if you select the planet and then from the menu select "Organize fleets" you can scrap a fleet (if that has just one ship, it will scrap just that one).
3. Yeah, we accidentally left out the <- -> on either side of the planets to let you know how far it could make it, and how far back it could make it. It is on our list to add.
