.... I thought most folks here were, like, 43 or so.

Like all good denizens of the Interwebs, most folks here probably are really 43, but publicly they'll post they're 27. But then I do know some people in real-life that do almost the same thing. A friend of mine has been 43 for the past 5 or 6 years now...

thread resurrection FTW
Yes! Hopefully I can find someone near my age group

Am curious as to how people find really old threads like this... Always see someone bring a 4 year old thread up and I wonder how they found the old ones

I'm probably one of the youngest members here, being born in the beginning of October, 2001, making me fifteen years old, though sixteen soon. I'm not an average fifteen year old who spends their time playing Call of Duty or Overwatch all day, and posts with poor English and low post content, though... some people have seriously mistook me as being at least 16-17 online, though it is probably the influence of my profile images and such.

Well I’ve got you beat! I am younger than you

Also not sure why you made the assumptions about younger forum members? Sounds a little pretentious...

Also, after making this post I look at your title, you’re only a newbie... How can you call others out for having a low post count when you’re a MR newbie? (Update: I see you said “content” not “count” but what does that mean? That you write longer stuff? Anybody can ramble)

And even more because I had to do a double take. Poor English? You do realize not everyone is from the US? That's why on the forums we can't correct for grammar or spelling, because English isn't everyone's first language

And am I still not done? Yes, gee... Anyway, I would think more positively towards your peers on here, they're the most like you! Connect with them, don't shun them away because you can hang out with generally older people

I wasn't talking about MacRumours users, which I thought I made quite obvious in my post. I was referring to the typical teenager who sticks around Snapchat all day or whatever, not the people here. ^^'

Sorry if I offended anyone.

There's a ten year old in the PowerPC Mac forum. Likes Clamshell iBooks.

@clamshell_g3 is probably the youngest! ;)

He has publicly stated on the PowerPC Macs forum that he is 10.

I'm younger than all of you... except @clamshell_g3...

I'm 28, I've been here since I was 20.

The 13 years of age requirement went into effect when I was 11. Remember it very well because it closed a bunch of the AOL channels and chats that were otherwise setup and moderated for young people at the time. :(

I always forget my own age

according to Google i'm 40 ... Now, i knew something.... :( ...
