Cook and Ive ran it through a wood chipper.
Yes, they made 10.5 Billion in the second quarter, the prior quarter they made 18.4 billion, more money than any company, ever. Yep Cook and company are practically bankrupting the company.

See displaymate, an industry respected screen expert website, totally Independant. And yet the objective data I'm finding doesn't support that view. I'm not stating an opinion-- I'm looking at test data showing that, on the metrics MR quoted, the LCDs are superior and asking if anyone can point me to data that says otherwise. So far, no.
I'll be pissed if I buy the 7 and they turn around and release another phone sooner than they usually do.
Not necessarily but I don't want 3 years of the same designed iPhone. I look forward to a brand new iPhone every 2 years, not more of the same thing. So you consider the current iPhone a dud, too?

the 7 is a 6ss.
why would you upgrade?
It depends on if you have a regular 6/6 Plus or 6S/6S Plus. I'll be honest, I don't like keeping the same phone more than 2 years and I'll have an upgrade at the release of this years iPhone since I have a regular 6 Plus. However if Apple decides to move the 2017 iPhone release back to June like they used to do I bet they would allow early upgrades for people that upgrade to the new iPhone this year.the 7 is a 6ss.
why would you upgrade?
Not in my eyes. I find those edge to edge mockups fugly. iwan t a frame around my screen.Imagine an edge to edge 4,3 inch OLED iPhone, now that would be perfect.
I don´t have to.I don't understand the point of beautiful, light weight phones if we have to stick them into ugly cases anyway.
OLED does tend to outperform on viewing angle brightness, and this eats into the LCD brightness advantage off axis...
You mean what Samsung did when they copied the first iPhone, apple did the r and d, brought out so so product, Samsung perfected it and the rest is history with the note 5 sitting at the top of the US customer satisfaction charts, and the s7 edge being a shoe in for smartphone f the year.Tim Cook, 14/9/2014, interview with Charlie Rose: "The philosophy has always been to be the best, not the first."
Apple let everyone else make fools of themselves and make the mistakes by implementing tech and "features" that are flawed &/or amount to nothing useful; that's market research AND R&D for free.

By your rules you are OK with this, am I right? Or.. do you cry like a little girl over those nasty copycats.. make your mind up, you can't have it both ways..
That's actually one of the bits that has me worried: I had a Galaxy S3, and the screen was too bright from all angles, when reading in bed. A thing I actually LIKE about my LCD-screened devices, is that I can quickly relieve a significant amount of eyestrain simply by tilting the screen to an extreme angle. It's much more efficient than going into a control panel.
And, like many, I have concerns over OLEDs shortcomings on the fade and burn-in front. One of the things that dissuaded me from going with a Galaxy S6 Edge Plus, last year (besides my general dislike of Android, bred by two years with said GS3), was that the floor samples in the store had significant image burn-in.
This is priceless, screen is too bright lol, you know you can adjust the brightness. Lol. Half of the lads on here brag about the 6s screen being brighter rhn than the s7, u cant win can you. Oh, and the store models have the screen on all day every day, not exactly a real world case scenario..That's actually one of the bits that has me worried: I had a Galaxy S3, and the screen was too bright from all angles, when reading in bed.
