The IOC agrees with me, you seem to agree with Samsung.
He doesn't even agree with Samsung, considering they never requested it. But if they did, it wouldn't be too out of the ordinary.

And now it's ok to throw insults too? Check Dr, Manhattan's post directed at me.
I don't know if you're astroturfing or trying to troll, but you were wrong yesterday, and you're wrong today. I saw tons of iPhones at the opening ceremonies, and I didn't see any logos covered. It was a ridiculous request yesterday, is today. The IOC agrees with me, you seem to agree with Samsung.
But you should expect some backlash when you're constantly bringing them up on purpose. It screams insecurity and troll.
What exactly do you call "a lot"? In many cases it was not easy to see what exactly the athletes were using but among those devices that were recognizable I'd say less than 10% were iPhones (and I am being generous here)Regardless of whether Samsung requested people cover iPhone logos, there are a few of you who justifed it, and said it was normal. I've never seen Apple request this, nor would I back them if they did.
There were a lot of iPhones used. I watched a Canadian and U.S. Broadcast. Some had covers, some didn't. People certainly didn't cover them on purpose.
Being a sponsor does not give you the right to make someone cover logos of your personal devices for normal usage. If it is a press conference that is different. Even then, you'd probably get a lecture, not kicked out or anything.
The amount of trumpeting for Samsumg on front page stories is ridiculous. Do Apple fanboys say stupid thing? Of course. But you should expect some backlash when you're constantly bringing them up on purpose. It screams insecurity and troll.
Coming from the person calling people Samsung trolls? Do you seriously think you sound any better than people calling out Apple drones?

So the giant Apple logo on the back means nothing?![]()
I don't know about your iPhone, but mine has a big shiny Apple on the back of it.
LOL what?
Throw a case on the phone, and you won't see itThat is an easy thing to cover up. Most people use cases, including myself, I have a nice Speck Candy Shell case on my phone, and I don't need to see that giant Apple logo on the back
----------
Many people have cases on their phones to protect them, so the cases cover up the Apple logo. Anyhow, Samsung tried to get away with telling people not to use iDevices at the Olympic Games, and it is an epic fail for them, lol.

Many people use cases on their phones, such as myself, I have a Speck Candy Shell case on my iPhone, and it covers up the Apple logo. The last time I saw the logo on my phone was when I bought it. So many people use cases, that we never see the Apple logo, except for when we reboot the phone or turn it on after it has been off.
