I'm diggin the look of the Jawbone. It looks mad comfortable. I may have to pick me up one this weekend.
I don't need a new dock as I have my old one and own a dremel.

It also has a line out hole (which of course outputs an uncompressed stream of audio which is better quality than the headphones port).
But other than that, it's just to look nice

Also, is there any more information about eligible upgrades? For example, if our upgrade is within 2-4 months away, can be upgraded? I also noticed the family plan is ONLY for iphones. Will this also help with people who are not eligible?

btw, I've been reading somewhere that you need to be the actual account holder - unfortunately, my father's been the account holder since I was in highschool/college, you think it'll conflict with me getting the iphone even though I'm over 18?

No.
I believe as long as you can provide the security information that the account holder bares,
the account holder will not have to be present with persons who are over 18.

have him call AT&T and add you as an authorized user. You'll still need his name, last 4 of his SS# and billing address to be on the safe side when you go in but that will allow you to purchase an iphone and add the data plan
no upgrade overrides allowed, at first atleast, unless u r an existing 2G iphone user...
