"On FeDex Vehicle for delivery"?

One thing to be aware of, I have had FedEx deliveries "out for delivery" that did not show up until the next day. Sometimes they just start loading up a truck not being used the current day with the next day deliveries.
I thought the Seattle early deliveries would be to flaunt them near Bill Gates neck of the woods....

interesting that the weight is different than mine... My invoice says, 0.6 kg/1.3 lbs.
must be that extra 16 GB LOL
my guess is they just some kind of justifaction to let the world know what they have. That and being on YouTube can make you famous

It's only 10:24am PST. My status said it was out for delivery at 8:02am. I'd give them until at least 2-3 before calling it for the day.
I have a crappy old video cam (since I sold my 3GS) with no mic so I'll try and record a video but it won't have any sound. I think that's a good thing for everyone anyhow. Never done one before, what do people typically do? Just unwrap it and open it up and show everything?

i HAVE A FEELING THOSE 3 OR 4 PEOPLE ON HERE THAT SHOW THEY ARE GETTING IT TODAY.. are fakes. Maybe they are getting their reduced price 3GS ... or something they ordered from apple.

Pretty much. Unboxings usually show what it comes with, booting it up for the first time, etc.
FedEx trucks deliver until 6PM PST, so it depends on where you are in their route.
I have receipt for 32 GB iPhone 4 and tracking saying mine is on fedex vehicle for delivery. If it were safe for me to post my tracking number on here as proof I would.
I'd say if your a west coaster you could give them another 7 hours or so before calling if for the day. I know FedEx and UPS come around here until 6 pm.

Did you guys order from Apple or AT&T?
I ordered from AT&T in one of their stores.
My status shows it was shipped and I have a FedEx tracking number but when I track it, the number show nothing in detail.
I'm wondering if these detailed updates are for people buying from Apple.com.

Me too! Like I posted on another forum, I called Papa Johns and pre-ordered my pizza for a June 24th delivery so I can sit here and read all the meltdowns. Even though I got through on my first attempt, I didn't get a confirmation email. I got nervous, so I called them and the Papa Johns lady promised me I'm in the system and it will be here even though I didn't get a confirmation email. Not status updates yet, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
