Mine was at the facility in LA this morning at 6:24am, Im only like 40 miles away from it but thought it wouldnt make its way over here till tomorrow morning. It made it out here to the local branch two hours later and its on the truck for delivery today!
Im in Orange County, CA. Mine is on the truck for delivery from Fullerton. Did you pay the $10 for expedited shipping?
Just checked and it was put on a Fedex truck at 9:52 CST this morning for delivery. I figured it wouldn't be delivered until tomorrow because it didn't get to the depot until 6:15 this morning. Guess Fedex got the word from Apple to move them things out!

weird, mine updated 3:48CDT, and there was a flight to sacramento delayed (scheduled at 3) and departed at 3:45. but they told me mine didn't even left memphis...
we should cleared custom at probably the same time, if you can make 2:38 flight why can't mine make on a 3:45 one

I must be in the minority because I love the keyboard. I was worried about it after all the reviews, but it took me 0.5 seconds to get used to it. I guess I'm just more adaptable than others.

Usually fedex packages fly into Oakland, and then come down to the local facility near Santa Cruz. Hoping for tomorrow!
Apple prioritized the U.S. and left all other countries in the cold. Kind of strange considering that about 60% of Apple's revenue is generated outside the States.
I don't notice any slowdown compared to my 2013 MBA. Though these are my uses for the laptop which may differ from others (ordered by percentage of time spent in app):
- Terminal: SSH/local cli
- Sublime Text: Editing large code files/documentation files
- Safari: Internet
- Remote Desktop: Remote access to my Windows VM with Outlook and Windows sysadmin tools
- Xcode: Building iOS apps
- Coda 2: Building websites
- ForkLift: File transfers
- Navicat: SQL DB management
- Napkin: Image markups
EDIT: To be clear, I've had the laptop for 4 hours, 1 was spent restoring data. So 3 hours of real world use time at work so far.
So did mine and man, it took over half an hour to update it. This thing is slow and already warming up after 5 minutes of web browsing. Not impressed so far
Eh I'm the opposite. Ran through some Photoshop and it was so non-eventful I'm curious what the reviewers were doing exactly. Safari, Mail, Tweetdeck, iMessages, iTunes, Photoshop, and 10.10.3 download all happening at same time. System performance is fine for me so far.
Is it still in Japan? Ours left Japan yesterday at 10:30am (PST) and were in Memphis last night at 10:46 (PST) and cleared customs in 2 hours. Then mine got to LA early this morning, to the local facility and to my door at 10am this morning. If its still in Japan now, unlikely you will get it tomorrow.
