And in a little more than 48 hours a lot of MacRumor's posted rumors will also be debunked and put to death, and they will soon be glossed over and ignored as if they were never put forth. Such is the nature of rumors. They are meaningless. The only thing that will count on Wednesday evening is what we actually got released, yet the rumors will start up anew about the next incremental releases coming in the future... Pop the corks on the Apple Cider and drink up so you can quickly forget the multitudes of false rumors!

The rumors may be ignored after Wednesday, but all the page views and ad impressions/clicks won't ever be forgotten by those who posted the rumors...

I will just wait for Wednesday and then everything will be fine in the World. :apple:;)
True. And this coming Thursday we'll talk about what is coming - maybe - to iPhone 15 Pro Plus Max. 🤔

I'm thinking "Ok..enough w/ the iPhone 14 rumors!!!"
BUT...this is Mac Rumors, so I take my thought back. 😆

Seriously, I don't mind the year long rumors on the next phone...early wide rumors usually appearing in Jan, Feb. are always interesting...keeps interest, some excitement. Some "what are you thinking Apple!?"

In 50 years, this is how Apple's new iPhone 14 will be viewed as....
Well as large as those phones were back then, your are still holding one in your hands predominantly which suggests Apple might direct their designs for phones to be wearable and flexible in the future. Biggest sales pitch would be pitching phones as hands free finally and less distracting to use at work and home.

I wouldn't be shocked if a satellite connectivity Apple Watch that supports calling and texting is that distant.

I’ve just switched to this site from a different iPhone news site, and I haven’t seen this discussed anywhere: what are the chances of Apple bringing back a rotating iOS, like iPad? They did it for a few years with the Plus models of 6-7-8. I would really like that feature added back in for the larger phones. Even if just the icons rotated and the dock always stayed on the short side. It was really useful for us with all of the games we play with the phone held sideways.

That flush camera no one believed...at least no one with physics in mind
Samsung got the cameras flush with the S22 Ultra. Granted I don’t know if they’re using the comparably sized sensors as the iPhone or not.

I really want TouchID back to compliment FaceID. TouchID is just so much more convenient to do when pulling the phone out of your pocket. Also, having a second biometric option on a single device would improve security for sensitive transactions. Hoping 2022 is not a blah year for iPhone.
Don’t get your hopes up. I agree with you though.

Absolutely perfect.

On another note: this site has gone from Mac rumors to iPhone rumors. Not to mention the credibility given to tech swamis whose track records are more miss than hit. While the MacRumors of old used to scoff and seem to discard such silliness, the MacRumors of recent years seems to embrace every nonsensical tidbit that comes forward concerning the next new I-device. Not to mention, they post article after article about what to expect, and then, when they’ve run out of ink on those articles, move on to what not to expect. All of which, are, as the previous poster mentioned, discarded and filed away like no one ever made a prediction that was a complete miss.

I’m tired of iPhones and iPads. The updates are iterative and evolutionary. There hasn’t been anything revolutionary for years, yet every iPhone/iPad launch is marked by some yayhoo yacking about how exciting this all is and that they can’t wait to spend their money on what is essentially nothing new.

Congratulations! You’ve been duped by marketing!

And on the Mac front, where are we? Has the rumor come out that the M2 processor will be succeeded by the M3? I’m getting that out there now. Screw Gurman and Prosser, you heard it here first!

Shocking!

Best takeaway from this iPhone cycle - the death of rumor monger Jon Prosser's legitimacy.
If I didn’t know it’s logistically impossible, I would think Apple changed some of its designs at the last minute just to spite him!

He’s done better with rumors on Google products.
