I'm guessing a lot of people are guying to buy the upgrade expecting some new things(even though they say nothing is new graphically) then get upset(on forums no less) about how much of a waste it is.

My main concern is not so much the lack of new features, but rather
that many of those new features will be bugs.

I'm hearing worrying reports about the stability of SL (or lack thereof).
This close to release that's not encouraging.

When SL is released the average consumer, the only people apple cares about, will be pissed off at the lack of any noticeable change.

I don't think the average consumer wants to spend $1000 on a Mac when they can get an equally powerful Windows box for around half the price. The last time that I know of when Apple cared about the average consumer was with the Macintosh LC.
