Apple provides a suite of Internet based services called .Mac, which I think is worth subscribing to, however it is not every one's cup of tea. There are plenty of threads on the Pro's and Con's of .Mac, I suggest you search them out.

You can take a free trial which you can get here.

The reason that I mention this is .Mac do a range of training videos to get you started in OS X and the iLife Applications which will give you a really good start. The training videos can be found here (not all of them require .Mac membership)

I Do agree on the .mac

It includes a little app called backup, which i use religiously.... And it comes with your own internet-disk. And although 100 euro's a year is in my opinion a lot of money especially for 250mb of space, but still, having my data stored at a different place plus the ability to access your data from anywhere, it -to me- worth it.

But .mac is tricky, and a great source of discussion. I like it

-oh, what you hear often, don't use NORTON- have never used it myself (not on Mac not on PC, but as it appears, norton is to mac what the borg are to star-trekkies)-
