As for one hit wonders... how about 'Dance Hall Days' by Wang Chung?

That wasn't their only hit in the U.S. "Everybody Wang Chung Tonight" (or whatever the name of the song was) was another big hit for them here. So maybe they qualify as a two-hit wonder.

How about "Safety Dance", by Men Without Hats?
