Didn't Tim Cook say in the 2020 keynote all Macs will have transitioned to AppleSillicon by the end of 2021? That would put the MacPro on the upgrade list today. Or did I misunderstood....
I was just thinking about that myself - that when the Apple Silicon plan was first announced, there were some indications that the various models would be phased in to the new chips over a ~ 2 year period. If the iMac is not included in today's announcements then it would be great if gave some information on where that plan now stands, and indicated if the remaining models would be updated within the next ~ 6 months or whatever their current schedule is.It was a 2 year plan, which generally puts it at mid-2022. I doubt we'll get the larger iMac update or the MacPro today.
You, being an aware person as a contributor to this forum, didn't think to print your urgently required return label before the Apple store went down? Can I really not print a return label while the store is down? Really?
i would. You’d prefer a large bezel? Than a bezel with your system icons?
I’m curious for what reason you would prefer a black bezel vs a black bar with system icons at the top?i would.
Oh, I’m aware, I just never had to visit my account on the day of an event. The account menu just spins endlessly. Don’t worry, it’s not urgent at all, I’ll just have to remember to bring my box with me again tomorrow. You, being an aware person as a contributor to this forum, didn't think to print your urgently required return label before the Apple store went down?
Think of it as an extended drumroll; I'm pretty sure there isn't a technical reason to do it. Of course, it had to be on the day that my wife is expecting her new iPhone, and she wasn't able to track it.Can’t wait for all the "Apple doesn’t need to shut down the Apple Store" and "marketing stunt" comments!
Reported. And removed. (you might want to erase it from your own post, to complete the process). As a woman, I wish MacRumors mods would not allow these types of posts.
Now you will live with 🤣I prefer borders, thank you very much.
after seeing the implementation, I changed my mind. I thought the notch would always be hiding part of my menu bar and I'd have to reduce window and shift window down to et the middle content. seems to not be the case, so looks good.I’m curious for what reason you would prefer a black bezel vs a black bar with system icons at the top?
