While less ram than my current 64gb MBP is okay, since I imagine the new ones will be so much more efficient. But worried that the new laptops won't offer as much storage. Currently have 8TB and worry the new ones will only be 4TB. I currently use a little over 4TB and could get beneath it but now I'd be constantly worrying about space.
just wondering... what are you carrying around that you need to have 4TB on a laptop?

Damn I was just about to purchase a 16" intel MacBook Pro and the store is down 🤣 your loss Apple!
Not really, they can take the “loss”. If this delay prevents you from buying the laptop forever somehow, they could not care less.

They’ve proven all the way now into 2021 that they value showmanship, marketing, and MORE customers than people like you not accidentally buying a 7-hours-from-being-out-of-date-Mac.

It really, really, really isn’t their loss.

To everyone else complaining about this? You will never change the tide on this one. At the very least you’re all waiting for Tim Cook to retire and MAYBE the new apple ceo will stop this practice, but honestly I doubt it. Stop these tired complaints about the store going down. You people, of all people, know that this is going to happen and you had ample, ample time to purchase whatever you wanted all the way up to like 5 am today.

It’s your loss, not theirs. And even then… it’s your loss for like… what, 6 or 7 hours and that’s it? Stop. The. CRYING!!!!!

haha. Assuming you have the apple card you won't need a high limit since you can just purchase interest free monthly payments like the iPhone or even apple cases etc.
Sadly even on Apple Card, you need the limit of the MacBook Pro to start the purchase. Then when you are paying it, that is interest free monthly payments.

Come on now, what you just typed is contradictory. They don’t care if they lose a sale but want MORE customers? Hint, no company wants to lose a customer or customers. Because when they do lose a customer, their rivals will swoop them up. Neither Apple nor Google gain anything from losing a customer.

If Apple loses a Mac sale, that’s a gain for Dell, Microsoft, Lenovo, HP or someone else.

My sole frustration is that it was already impossible to find an Iphone 13 Pro max... at the very least I hope this online shutdown results in finding some in stock later today....:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:

I am really interested in how they will "spin" the reversal/backtracking of some of the earlier features that were touted as god's gift to mankind (touchbar I am looking at you). Maybe something like "we have listened to the Pros and given you something that we know you want"... we shall see...

Will they match the prices of the previous generation? I'm so curious. The apple silicon iMac and Mini were surprisingly priced.

Yes they like to bring the store down to build up hype but it's something they need to stop doing for a change, can you imagine if a site like amazon, ebay or pretty much any retailer went down everytime a new item went up the site would be down 24/7 😄

I think you won't hear anything about the Touchbar being gone.. Better to leave it alone than to admit that was a mistake from the jump....

I mean it's almost good if there is a notch simply because if the other rumors are true, we'd all have nothing to talk about. It'd just be a perfect laptop. If apple delivered a perfect laptop we'd have nothing to put off purchasing new one and start 400 page long thread's for. Just think, by the end of the day we could have a 'Waiting for a notch-less MBP' thread pinned to these very forums!

I can't believe you wasted all that time quoting me and going off on one with your reply when I was joking... I think you need to take a chill pill and stay off the forums for a bit 🤣
