I think this is normal. It’s the same with 13 Pro. My guess is that it’s the sensor shift working in the camera sensor. Since it’s optical image stabilisation it’s moving parts.

Maybe it’s not heard on every device?
The “coil whine” similar sound you hear when holding the phone next to your ear should not interfere or affect anything while using the iPhone.

However the “shaking” cameras in some apps is really an issue that is reported in another thread.

Some guy on reddit said it’s for optical image stabilisation and is perfectly normal. Hmmmmm

I wrote that to further up too.
I made similar thread here after I got the 13 Pro.
If it’s only the coil whine sound it should be fine, if it’s the more severe shaking/vibrating camera, it’s worse, but then you would hear it without having the phone next to your ear.

I definitely hear it on mine as well. Maybe related to the 3rd party camera noise bug?

Hmmm mine must be defective? Do I need to go get a replacement? I say this because when I open up the camera and put my ear next to the front speaker I do not hear any white notice (edit: I meant noise). coming from it. Should it be concerned? 🤣

I hear it too, open camera app and there is white noise and close it stops. Happens in both photo and video mode.

Hmmm but I am not going into the store to get a replacement for this. In the 7plus days the phone had a constant hissing sound and I switched nearly 4 or 5 phones and all of them had that noise.
