OpenGL Updates?

I'm running Tiger (10.4) on a 1.8 dual PowerMac tower. Is OpenGl auto updated via Software Update or is that something I must do on my own? What version of OpenGL should I have installed? I did some online research and the answer has alluded me so far. Appropriate links would be appreciated.

Thanks I'll check this out. Since OpenGL is part of MacOS would it safe to assume that any updates for it would come via Software Update?

Yes, all GL updates are included in OS updates.
